Picnic. The New Orleans Greek Picnic is poised to transform the cultural economy sector in New Orleans. Known as the Greek Mardi Gras, we specialize in creating a one-of-a-kind social experience for members of the African-American Greek community from across the nation. The annual New Orleans Greek Picnic, which takes place on July 26, 2014 at Historic Armstrong Park, draws more than 5,000 African-American Greeks to the city and features an amazing event lineup, which includes Black Greek Success Education Seminars, Health and Wellness Fair, Taste of New Orleans, Auto Show and Greek Stroll Competition. The New Orleans Greek Picnic is the next generation of entertainment: unique, innovative and experiential. Your involvement in this event means a lot to us, and we want to make sure to set you up for success and ensure that you receive a return on investment worth your participation. We will accommodate reasonable requests in order to make this a positive vending experience for you, commensurate with applicable state and local laws. ARRIVAL AND CHECK-IN Check-in time for New Orleans Greek Picnic vendors is 12:30 p.m. You will receive a site map and event schedule at the time of check-in. If you have a large trailer to maneuver, please plan to arrive early.

FEES/CANCELLATION Full deposit of $50 must be paid upon receipt of your application. Cancellations must be made no later than 60 days prior to the event in order to receive reimbursement of fees paid. Cancellations must be made in writing and will result in forfeiture of the $50 deposit. There are no refunds or fee transfers for no shows.

SPACE SPECIFICATIONS Event spaces are limited. Applications are accepted and spaces assigned based upon three criteria: Date application was received; Date payment was received; and, The goal of diversity, variety and limited duplication. All space assignments are made at the discretion of the Event Director. You will not be able to park your vehicle in Armstrong Park. There will be designated vendor parking for those who arrive on time. Please be mindful of your neighboring vendors at all times. Improper use of space or any violation of park rules will be grounds for immediate removal without refund. New Orleans Greek Picnic, LLC can provide tents, tables and chairs for a $150 fee. All requests must be made in writing at least 60 days in advance and must accompany full payment of the rental fee. All vendors are responsible for cleaning their area of trash, leftovers and waste.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY No items using the logos, slogans, or event references for this specific event, or the New Orleans Greek Picnic, can be sold by a vendor without the signed consent of New Orleans Greek Picnic, LLC.
