I have learnt the art of ma!ing homemade chutney from grandfather to please mother" ut I have yet to learn how to ma!e his famous mango pic!les. I have seen him ma!e the pic!les many times. I have even gone with him to pic! the mangoes" which he soa!s in ,' salted water in a 6ar for three to five days. (e sha!es the ottle each day so that the contents do not settle. (e never uses vinegar" only oil to preserve these mangoes. I tried the recipe one day" ut my pic!les did not have the
