General Notes
1.
Recommended quantities are as follows: Domestic: One (1) complete set for each ten (10) circuit breakers or fraction thereof installed for each rating. International: One (1) complete set for each five (5) circuit breakers or fraction thereof installed for each rating. NOTE: Figure Reference parts marked with a delta ( D), are minimums that should be ordered for normal duty applications. For heavy-duty applications, order all applicable Figure Reference parts. The parts listed cover an indefinite period. With normal duty and maintenance, replacement will be infrequent. Standard hardware (screws, nuts, lockwashers, etc.) is not included with the parts. Where continuity of service is mandatory, a spare circuit breaker is recommended.
2. 3. 4.
Ordering Instructions
When ordering, state type of circuit breaker and serial number from breaker nameplate in addition to part description and ordering number. State the quantity, description, and ordering number of each assembly or part required, as applicable. EXAMPLE: To order moving contact assemblies for a typical K-600 circuit breaker, provide the following: Serial No. 39402-22-2-4A (From nameplate) S.O. 33-39402 Quantity-2 (Fig. Ref. 4B, page 8) Moving Contact Assemblies 706783T02 The recommended spares in this bulletin apply only to circuit breakers having the features listed. For example, the circuit breaker is stationary mounted, disregard the primary and secondary disconnect assemblies (Fig. Ref. 27A, B, C, D, E, and 28). If the circuit breaker has a special feature not listed, provide complete description of the feature, such as: Shunt Trip-120 Volts AC, in addition to other information requested in the above example. When ordering current-limiting fuses, always specify the continuous current rating in addition to the order number. NOTE: Fig. Ref. parts marked with a bullet ( l). On circuit breakers equipped with solid state overcurrent trip devices, as designated by the S at the end of the circuit breaker Type, it is necessary to replace both the solid state logic assembly and the lower molding assembly when changing the circuit breaker to a new AMPERE TAP range.

Ordering Instructions: Use the tables to specify the appropriate entries for breaker type, trip rating, application, trip system and adders. This retrofit kit is for use with red-molding K-LINE Breakers only. Example: MCPK806120: An MPSC-2000 retrofit kit MCPK806120 fits a K-800 breaker with 600 A sensors (entry 2: K806), 3-wire ground without VIM (entry 3: 1), replacing an SS device (entry 4: 20 ). Notes: 1. MPSC-2000 Trip Unit includes: Long time, short time, instantaneous and ground trip elements. 2. 4-wire ground and D.E.S.P. applications require remote neutral sensor and the use of (2 or 4) secondary disconnect contacts. These need to be ordered separately. 3. A VIM (Voltage Interface Module) is wired to secondary disconnect contact #16. Please order secondary disconnects separately if needed. 4. Do not enter dashes or other separators into the catalog number.
