Counselling for admission into PG Engineering / M.Pharmacy will be held during 3 rd & 4th September
2009 at 9.00 AM in the office of the Directorate of Admissions, First Floor, State Bank of India, SVU
Campus, Tirupati. Those Candidates who have applied and listed in PGECET-2009 (GATE/ PGECET-
2009) can Register their names by paying Rs.1000/- (Registration fee) on or before 01.09.2009 (5 P.M)
and directly attend the counseling with requisite course fee (see website) and counseling fee of
Rs.500/- on the given dates. For further details please visit the web site www.svudoa.com. The
Registration fee must be sent on the name of Director, Directorate of Admissions, Sri Venkateswara
University, Tirupati.

2. Candidates seeking admission under sponsored and special category seats shall attend the
counseling as per the schedule given above.
3. No separate communication will be sent for counseling.
4. In each specialization 15 sponsored seats are available and with sponsor fee of Rs.3,00,000/-
which is a one-time payment to be paid at the time of counseling, plus the first year fee to be
paid at the time of admission is Rs.1,04,785/-.

Note: In respect of SC, ST and BC the reimbursement will be given by the Government to the
extent of Rs. 20,000/- only. The additional fee is to be paid by the candidate at the time of
admission.

* for those candidates whose parent’s annual income from all sources is less than Rs.1,00,000/-.
Candidate has to produce the income certificate from Tahsildar issued in 2009 for availing the fee
concession.
5. Note:
i) Other University students have to pay an additional fee of Rs. 125/-.
ii) Each admitted candidate has to pay an additional amount of Rs.500/- towards
Counseling fee.
6. The fee shall be paid at the time of admission and no extension of time will be given.
7. Fee once paid will not be refunded. No cancellation shall be allowed.
8. Registration fee once paid shall not be refunded.
9. Once admitted into the course, cancellation of admission is not allowed.
10. The following certificates shall be produced at the time of admission
a. Gate-2009/PGECET-2009 Score/Rank Card & Hall Ticket
b. Transfer certificate (TC)
c. Marks Memorandum of Intermediate or its equivalent
d. Three passport size photos
e. Provisional Certificate of qualifying examination (Degree) and Memorandum of
marks
f. Memo of SSC or its equivalent
g. Study Certificates from 9th class to Graduation
h. Residence certificate for preceding 7 years of the qualifying examination i.e.
Graduation in respect of candidates who have private study without any
institutionalized education
i. Integrated Community certificate issued by the competent authority in case of
BC/SC/ST candidates
j. Residence certificates of father or mother for a period of 10 years in A.P. excluding
the period of their employment outside A.P. from Tahsildar in case of Non local
candidates.
k. Latest Income certificate issued by Tahsildar in case of SC/ST/BC candidates if they
claim exemption of tuition fee.
l. In case of Non-Local candidates, Service Certificate of Father or Mother if they are
employed in Central Govt./State Govt./Quasi Govt./Public Sector
m. NCC/Sports certificates in support of their claim for admission under these categories

In addition to the above certificates, candidates are advised to bring the following certificates
to facilitate verification of caste claims. ST/SC/BC Welfare Department Officials will refer
these certificates if required.
a) Father’s caste certificate in case of SC/ST/BC candidates
 b) Attested copy of Service Register (S.R) of Father in case of SC/ST/BC candidates if
father is employed in Govt./Public Sector.
c) Transfer Certificate (TC) from the Institution where the candidate has last studied.

5. The first year fee to be paid at the time of admission is Rs.55,150/- (Affiliated colleges).

 8. Those candidates who are working / practicing engineers with 2 years experience are eligible
for sponsored seats admission. The admitted candidates under sponsor category have to pay
the sponsor fee. To the sponsored seats working/practicing engineers should register.
