Note: Applications received after due date will be considered only after the exhaust of
candidates applied before the stipulated date. Further due to lack of time if any
candidate who has not made application and desires to appear for counseling directly
on 2-9-2009, can be considered with spot payment of Registration fee along with
application. For such candidates counseling will done after the candidates who have
applied to DOA before due date.

1. Duration:
The duration of Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) Course is of two Years
(four semesters) as per Pharmacy Council of India.

2. Eligibility for Admission to M. Pharm. Course:

The candidates who possess Bachelors degree in Pharmacy from AICTE approved
institutions with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade. For admission under sponsored
quota candidates without GATE / PGECET rank will be considered as mentioned below. For
admission under Convener quota a valid GATE / PGECET percentile / Rank is must.

 3. Admissions to M. Pharm. Course: (under Convener quota (Self supporting))
Admission under convener quota (self-supporting) will be made for the candidates who
possess Bachelors degree in Pharmacy from AICTE approved institutions with at least 50%
marks or equivalent as per the guidelines of S.K. University following rules of reservation as
applicable. Admission in this category will be made on the basis of percentile score in GATE
first and if no GATE candidate is available then Rank in PGECET-09 will be considered.
Each student has to pay Tuition fees as prescribed by APSCHE, Hyderabad, and University Special
fees, other fees and deposits like Library and Laboratory etc., as prescribed by S.K. University.

Note: In respect of SC, ST and BC the reimbursement will be given by the Government to the extent of
Rs. 20,000/- only. The additional fee is to be paid by the candidate at the time of admission.

*for those candidates whose parent’s annual income from all sources is less than Rs.1,00,000/-.
Candidate has to produce the income certificate from Tahsildar issued in 2009 for availing the fee
concession. Each admitted candidate has to pay an additional amount of Rs.300/- towards
counseling fee.
4. Admissions to M. Pharm. Course: (under Sponsored category)
Admission under sponsored category will be made by the Directorate of Admission (DOA), Sri
Krishnadevaraya University for the candidates who possess Bachelors degree in Pharmacy from
AICTE approved institutions with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade and sponsored
by industries/ colleges/ institutes, without any reservations. Admission is open to all in sponsored
category. Admission in this category will be made on the basis of percentile score in GATE first
and if no GATE candidate is available then Rank in PGECET-09 will be considered. If
candidates are not available with GATE and PGECET-09 rank then admission will be made
based on marks in qualifying examination.
Each student has to pay Rs.2.5 lakhs (sponsor fee) under the sponsored category in addition to the regular
semester tuition fee as prescribed by APSCHE, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad and university
annual special fees and other fees as prescribed by University.

Each admitted candidate has to pay an additional amount of Rs.300/- towards counseling fee.

All the admitted candidates have to be strictly abide by the rules and regulations
prescribed by the APSCHE, Hyderabad and the University.

4. Mode of payment fee and University Special fees:

All the tuition fees (self-supporting fee) and sponsored fee as shown above (applicable to the
respective category) has to be paid at the time of counseling and admission it-self. Further the
University special fees and deposits like Library and Laboratory etc., Rs.3900/- as prescribed
by the University has to be paid by all candidates (both convener and sponsored quota).
5. Grant of Terms:
The fee once paid will not be returned in any case.
Once admitted into the course, cancellation of admission is not allowed.

6. Student Dress Code:

Uniform dress to be observed for 4 days of a week during course work. For males shoe and
Tie (with university emblem). Besides this, wearing the white apron and Identity card (provided
by the College of Pharmacy) is compulsory in the lab for all students.

 7. Other rules and regulations :
All the rules and regulations applicable to S.K. University students in general are also
applicable to the students admitted to College of Pharmacy.

8. STIPEND / SCHOLARSHIP :
• No Stipend/ Scholarship will be paid by the College. However, if the Govt. of
AP or India / AICTE sanctions any Stipend/Scholarship, the same will be paid
to the respective Candidates.
9. GENERAL:
• Applications complete in all respects, accompanied by Demand Draft for
Rs.500/- drawn in favour of “Director, DOA, S.K. University” Payable at
Anantapur as Registration fee must be submitted to the Director, Directorate
of Admissions, S.K. University, Anantapur – 515 003 on or before 31.08.2009.
• Applications received after due date will be considered only after the exhaust
of candidates applied before the stipulated date. Further due to lack of time if
any candidate who has not made application and desires to appear for
counseling directly on 2-9-2009, can be considered on spot payment of
Registration fee along with application. For such candidates counseling will
done after the candidates who have application to DOA before due date.
• The College is not responsible for delay or loss of any communication in
transit.
• Fee once paid shall not be refunded, under any circumstances
• The admissions will be subject to all the other conditions being stipulated by
the University/AP State Government.

4. Marks memos of all years of study
5. Provisional Certificate of qualifying examination.
6. Transfer Certificate and Conduct Certificate from the college where the candidate last
studied
7. Appropriate certificates for claim of Local / Non-local candidature / Study certificates for
local candidate claim
8. Caste Certificate in respect of SC, ST and BC Category
9. Special Reservation Certificate (if any) PH / NCC / SPORTS / CAP
10. Recent Income Certificate for candidates claiming fee concession.
(fee concession can’t be given if they fail to produce Income Certificate at the time of admission)
11. Sponsor certificates for admission under sponsor quota.
