MTC-Spezifikation 1/2 MTC Specification 1/2

Preamble
The standardized procedures in the MTC at the Sindelfingen and Untertrkheim sites require that the supplier observes the following described processes, delivery note format, delivery note data transmission and part identification when supplying to the MTC. This forms the basis for the automated receipt of goods, part identification and part tracking in the MTC. The supplier has the option of creating the supply documents in the required format at the Internet supply portal Daimler AG. The goods tags, delivery notes and data transmission delivery notes can be created on the Internet using the application. The regulations contained in Mercedes Benz special terms no.: 29/9; 31/8 and 35/8 also apply along with the following provisions. Likewise, the object of agreement is the Daimler AG delivery instruction DBL9606.

1 Area of application
1.1 Scope of Validity
The MTC 1/2 is valid for all parts deliveries ( prototype parts / sample parts, etc.) to the MTC (Mercedes Benz Technology Center) at the Sindelfingen and Untertrkheim sites. For the supply of "parts - tools" to the MTC, the same delivery note and data transmission delivery note format as for the parts delivery applies.

1.2

Validity Time-Scale
The MTC specification 1/2 replaces the 1/1 as of October 01, 2002.

2 Delivery of Goods
2.1 Delivery to MTC
The delivery of parts to the MTC is always to take place via the main goods receiving station of the Sindelfingen or Untertrkheim plants. The supplier must ensure that an initial goods receipt is issued at the main goods receiving station. This must also take place for a delivery in person. Main goods receiving station: Sindelfingen plant: Bau 60 Untertrkheim plant: POP Logistik Am Mittelkai 9 The material is to be addressed to the unloading point specified on the order. The unloading point can only be changed in agreement with the procurement logistics section (orderer).

2.2

Delivery to Third Parties

For delivery of parts ordered by the Daimler AG MTC to third parties, the supplier is to send the delivery note duplicate also to the DCAG orderer in the same way as for normal delivery.

2.3

Free of Charge Deliveries

When making free of charge deliveries of parts to the MTC the Daimler AG, the supplier is obliged to provide the goods with appropriate delivery documents additionally marked "delivery free of charge". If the free of charge delivery is subject to an order number, this number must be clearly shown.
