Title: Carestream Dental Donates Time and Supplies Equipment to CDA Cares San Diego Event

Carestream Dental was a proud sponsor of the CDA Cares San Diego event, hosted Saturday, Dec. 7 and Sunday, Dec. 8, at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Providing necessary oral health treatments to those who experience barriers to dental care, nine arestream Dental employees volunteered at the !"ray station, plus the company supplied the use o# $% &'( )$** digital radiography sensors, two S 8*** digital panoramic systems and one S +*** panoramic imaging system. D, ares was #ounded by the ali#ornia Dental ,ssociation - D,. and the D, Foundation, in association with the national ,merica/s Dentists are Foundation, in an e##ort to improve the oral health o# uninsured and under"insured ali#ornia residents and raise awareness o# the widespread need #or a##ordable dental coverage. 0he program allows volunteer dentists, with the assistance o# other dental pro#essionals and community volunteers, to provide dental services at no charge to more than %,*** patients at each event.

0he D, ares San Diego event was supported by almost 7** community volunteers who donated their time to manage event registration, clinical setup and data entry, while more than $,%** dental and health pro#essionals completed $%,2$8 procedures at no charge during the two"day event. (eneral dentists, oral surgeons, dental hygienists, assistants, lab technicians, nurses and pharmacists provided services 3 such as cleanings, #illings and extractions 3 as well as oral health education. 4# the $%,2$8 procedures, %,525 o# them were completed with the help o# arestream Dental products 3 a total o# 6$%7,%82 in services. 0he event was a huge success with %,%*5 patients receiving #ree dental care8
