The Sacred Grove

Patrick Horn 6014

Out of the ground Creator made to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food, the Tree of Life also in the midst of the garden, and the Tree of Knowledge of Joy and Suffering. (Genesis 2:9)

Creator took the man and put him in the Sacred Grove in the East to till it and keep it. And Creator told the man, You may freely eat of every tree of the garden; but of the Tree of Knowledge of Joy and Suffering, you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall die. (Genesis 2:15-17)

THE SERPENTS PROMISE

You will not die; for Creator knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like Creator, knowing Joy and Suffering. (Genesis 3:4-5)

ENLIGHTENMENT

So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruits and ate; and she also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate. The eyes of both were opened (Genesis 3:6-7)

THE SECRET GARDEN

Then Creator said, See, the man has become like us, knowing Joy and Suffering; and now, he might reach out his hand and take also from the Tree of Life, and eat, and live forever Therefore Creator sent him away from the Sacred Grove, to till the ground from which he was born. He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden he placed the Sphinx, and a sword flaming and turning to guard the way to the Tree of Life. (Genesis 3:22-24)

The Tree of Wisdom

Where four streets meet, where there is too much noise, where there are many corrupt characters, do not practice Raja Yoga. Do not practice when the body feels very lazy or ill, or when the mind is miserable and sorrowful. Go to a place that is well hidden, where people do not come to disturb you. Do not choose dirty places. Rather choose beautiful scenery, or a room in your own house which is beautiful. The end result is perfect enlightenment, freedom from fear, and reconciliation with the Absolute Source of all Being; the lessons are conducted in private far, far, far away from the City, where the initiate can experience the symptoms and ecstasies in deepest solitude. Without an appropriate environment and right guidance, madness is possible, and even death.
