THE ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE for socks distributed by IMPACT volunteers at Volunteers of America last weekend is reason enough to serve those for whom winter is abusive, if not life threatening. The VOA Homeless Shelter provides daily meals that serve over 200 people for whom something as basic as a pair of clean dry socks is a critical need. Students will be collecting pennies, coins, dollars and checks to bring to GLAS for the special giving project! This year the students would like to donate 10 sets of bee hives to families around the world. Our goal is to raise $1250. These hives will provide money for the families to have food, educate their children and receive medical care.
