Instructions: -Each instrument is provided with 6 dierent segments of music, each consisting of 10 bars at q = 120 in 4/4 time.

PREPARATION: -Before beginning the piece, one must use a die or random number generator to create a set of 12 numbers ranging from 1 to 6. -Each instrument will play the segments of music in the order given by the list of 12 numbers. -Some segments use extended techniques that require taking the instruments apart. Therefore, a pause will need to be planned before segments in which changes in instrumentation occur. -The conductor will give each beat as well as cues for pauses and the ends of segment cycles.
