using the FX-PCS/WIN-E We appreciate it very much that you have purchased our software product. By using the FX-PCS/WIN-E software, you can create sequence programs for our FX Series programmable controller on the Windows3.1,the Windows95 or the Windows98. You can create programs using three types of programming languages, circuit diagrams, lists and SFC drawings. You can perform printing using a printer, monitor operations of programmable controllers, and turn on and off devices for operating programmable controllers. Note: The FX-PCS/WIN-E does not support long file names allowed in the Windows95 and the Windows98. The FX-PCS/WIN-E does not assures in the WindowsNT.

- Contents of version upgrade Contents of upgrade from Ver. 2.10 to Ver. 3.00 1. Set function of transfer speed with PLC. The transfer speed can be changed in the FX2N and FX1N. The speed which can be set are 9,600bps or 19,200bps. 2. New to FX1S and FX1N instructions. Programming which includes new instruction and device which corresponds to FX1S and FX1N. Input and display of new instruction and device. Error check on new instruction and device. 3. Import and export of comment file Import and export of all individual comment types were enabled. 4. PLC type change. Destination PLC type is open for all PLC types. Contents of upgrade from Ver. 2.00 to Ver. 2.10 1. SFC edit SFC blocks including the INITIAL STATE can be deleted. The LADDER BLOCK symbol can be deleted. 2. SFC conversion SFC blocks with an error had been unconditionally deleted. The alert message "The SFC program has an error. Do you want to complete the conversion? If "Yes", the error will be deleted. If "No", the conversion is discontinued." is displayed. Moreover, the SFC conversion is able to be interrupted. 3. Display switch of SFC/Inner ladder Short cut (Ctrl+L) is added. 4. Inner ladder of State (STL ladder) edit. Line insertion in the first step is prohibited.

5. Inner ladder edit There is a limitation on the instructions which can be input with an Inner ladder. The check on this limitation was reinforced. Contents of upgrade from Ver. 1.20 to Ver. 2.00 1. Review of the header/footer print position 18. Printing of device comments in two rows Contents of upgrade from Ver. 1.10 to Ver. 1.20 1. It is impossible to insert lines in the circuit window by using short-cut-key . In circuit edit window, the short-cut-key for line deleting (Ctrl + Delete) does not work. Add short-cut-key of shift + Insert and shift + Delete. 2. Currently, the cursor doesn't move down automatically at deleting vertical wire by shift and F8 in puts. The cursor should move down automatically when the wire is deleted. 3. Improve the monitoring response at Entry device monitor function. 4. The Device Monitor Window does not reflect changes made to a timer or counter preset. You must close the window and re-open it to view the updated presets. Upgrade software. 5. It takes long time to read the comments from the data file. Reduce the time by improving the read procedure. 6. Menu of Runtime program changes should be disabled while FX0,FX0S is selected . 7. Correct the spelling errors. 8. There are two short-cut-keys which have same name for deferent short cuts. 9. When we delete or insert NOP instruction at the program list window, the coil and circuit comments are moved to bad position. Upgrade software. Contents of upgrade from Ver. 1.00 to Ver. 1.10

1. Ladder display The thickness of ruler lines on ladder diagrams on the screen and printed sheets can be changed. The ruler line thickness setting item is added on the environment setting dialog offered by the option menu. 2. Comment display The function is added so that "comment display" contents are saved on the ladder display window, and that the saved contents are displayed when the ladder window is displayed at the next time. 3. Writing of programs to programmable controllers The partial write function in which step Nos. can be arbitrarily specified is added. 4. Entry device monitor On the entry device monitor screen, entry devices can be saved in a file. By reading the saved file, the same devices whose registration was monitored previously can be used for monitoring. While the entry device monitor window is active, "Import(I)" and "Export(E)" are displayed on the file menu (identifier = *.rmw). 5. Sharing of comment data The comment data created in a different program can be used. While the comment edit window is active, "Import(I)" and "Export(E)" are displayed on the file menu. 6. Saving of comment data in the DOS(FX-PCS/AT-EE) format If there is comment data when a program is saved in the DOS format, the comment data is automatically saved also in the DOS format. (Device comments exclusively are saved.) 7. PLC type change Conventionally, the PLC type was able to be changed from a lower level to an upper level exclusively. Currently, the PLC type can be changed also from an upper level to a lower level. 8. Ladder conversion It can be set whether data is written in the RUN mode when a ladder is converted. The setting item is provided on the environment setting dialog offered by the option menu. 9. Ladder monitor screen Flickering on the screen is eliminated. 10. Printout speed The pre-processing time for printout is reviewed. (Ratio against conventional value: 1/10) 11. Device use list display The display time is reviewed.
