Monitor the performance of special process control activities, to ensure that the activities are conducted by appropriately qualified

operators and that the processes are conducted in accordance with approved procedures. Review the performance of Contractors personnel undergoing trade training, and ensure that the competency assessment process is rigorously implemented. Issue quality alerts to project team whenever serious risk quality issues are found. Provide timely response to the Contractors site/technical queries expedite query response from Design Contractor or project team Technical Authority. Ensures that contractors/fabricators maintain records of calibration of equipment used in production of work activities. Daily checks are performed on equipment used to verify calibration and accuracy. Conducts, and where required, assists the Quality Lead in audits of contractor/fabricators compliance with procedures and specifications. Prepare the terms of reference (in line with audit and review plan) and in agreement with auditees; Issue audit notification; Coordinate applicable resources to support the audit; Development of audit specific check list; Lead the entrance and exit meeting with the audit team; Discuss and agree findings with auditee; Develop and issue the audit report; Highlight serious and high risk findings to Quality Manager; Maintain working audit files containing objective evidence collected whilst conducting the audit. Supervise the activities of site QA/QC personnel Act as focal point for inspection and testing matters within the site organization and provide guidance to QA/QC personnel where required. Liaise with other functional groups (Delivery, Field Engineering, Construction, Commissioning and Materials) to ensure the implementation of the Construction Quality Management programme Maintain an electronic QC surveillance schedule, to identify the status of inspection and reporting activities and act as the focal point for inspection requests. Provide formal orientation to QA/QC personnel to acquaint them with the pertinent portions of the Construction Quality Plan, relevant procedures, specifications, drawings and required reporting formats. Advise the Quality Lead on contractor and subcontractor performance and the implementation of quality control program. Review and approve contractors ITPs, QA/QC plan procedures/documentation/records & Method Statements Review and input to Contractors sub contractors ITPs, Quality plans, procedures and method statements Plan and manage QC inspection personnel with regards to daily inspection requirements. Coordinate the required inspection, testing, reporting and project verification requirements to show compliance with project and BP quality requirements. Conduct regular field visits to observe the inspection and testing activities across relevant disciplines and report status to the Quality Lead. Interfaces with construction contractor personnel and other disciplines in the resolution of NCRs, deviations and specification revisions. Conduct, or schedule reviews or audits of the QC activities and records. Work closely with Company and construction Contractor personnel to ensure overall schedule and quality of QC work. Review of contractors construction dossiers and mechanical completion files for completeness and compliance with contractual requirements Prepare / Review daily, weekly and monthly reports on the status of various quality activities including audit/corrective action status, NCR status etc Willingness to step up into other roles and assume other responsibilities when requested in order to cover any shortages in Site Team resources. Performs verification of laboratory and field tests to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Ensures that contractors/fabricators maintain records of calibration of equipment used in production of work activities. Monitors the management of Material Control from goods inwards through production including identification of material, traceability and compliance with project specification. Ensures correct version of contract documents & drawings are used and verify as built red lined drawings as required. Review completion of inspection check-sheets (GoC) during the Mechanical Completion (MC) phase of the works. Review of contractors construction dossiers and mechanical completion files for completeness and compliance with contractual requirements Works with Commissioning Team to ensure smooth transition from construction to commissioning of systems within his area of expertise.
