Thou Shalt Not Judge

Those words are spoken today as though they were a commandment. Are Christians to Judge? Lets go to the Word of God: The passage that is usually quoted today by those who believe it is wrong to judge is Matthew 7:1. MT 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. Many never read past verse 1. Few ever read the entire verse. It is mostly quoted just judge not Saying those words to someone, Judge Not! is of itself, a judgment. By saying Judge Not, you have just judged, saying they are judging unrighteously. Before making that judgment of judge not The entire passage and context must be read and understood. MT 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. MT 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. MT 7:3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? MT 7:4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? MT 7:5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. Many read that to mean that it is impossible to remove a beam from your eye, and therefore, we are never to remove the spec from another. Is that really true? If you have a beam in your eye, are you not blind? Are we to remain blind? And if someone has a mote in their eye, even so much as an eyelash can cause us to close our eye. Jesus is describing 2 blind people - The blind leading the blind. That is why Jesus is telling us to remove the beam, then the mote from our brother. He wants us both to see!! All The verses of the Bible are true. There is not one verse that is truer than another, and they all fit together for Gods perfect instruction. We are first to repent, and then save others, even pulling them from the fire. If you are still living in sin, and are the same as those around you, then it is impossible for you to see the sin in someone else.

1TIM 5:20 Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. JUD 1:23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. 1COR 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 1COR 6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? 1COR 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. JN 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. MT 18:15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. MT 18:16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. MT 18:17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican. Arent those passages Judging? It is arrogant to believe that one should remain willfully with a beam in their eye their entire life, and never help another out of sin, all the while believing they have done well by not judging.
