The Lovers present us with an archetypal situation in which an ultra-
respectable couple acts out afternoon fantasies as lover and whore.
Harold Pinters fascinating writing skill leads us into a triangular
jealousy-drama enacted by two people and shows the danger of
splitting our sexual lives into watertight compartments. The play
makes a serious social point: that whereas the wife adapts easily to her
dual role as respectable consort and randy mistress, the husband
slowly cracks under the strain of a double identity. The Lovers stands
the inevitable test of time pretty well and it goes very well with our
opening up social views.

The next focus is on the "Chalta Hai" attitude of the people which is
still present in our society. we will be drawing parallel between the
Sepoy Mutiny of 1847 and comparing it with the contemporary
issues, as in how people where trapped in the hands of the British
rule at that time and because of their "Chalta Hai" attitude they
took advantage of us and lotted our country. Now, the parallel to
this is event is the present scenario of the "Neta's" and the Aam
Admi (NOT THE AA PARTY, but Aam Admi in general), how the
Neta's are lotting the comman man through various policies which
we arent even aware about.
