Introduction to computers
A computer is an electronic device that manipulates information or data. It has the ability to store, retrieve and process data. You can use a computer to type documents, send email and browse internet. The word computer comes from the word compute, which means to calculate. Hence, a computer is normally considered to be a calculating device, which can perform arithmetic operations at enormous speed. It is also known as a data processor since it not only computes in the usual sense, but also performs other functions with data.

Introduction to MS Office
MS office is an office suit of desktop application, severs and services for MS Windows and OS X operating system announced by bill gates on 1/08/19989. And it contains various utility software such as word, excel, powerpoint. MS office is reported to now be used by over a billion people worldwide. It is also available for android, iphone, windows phone. Most version of MS Office used there own widget set and do not exactly match the native operating system.

MS OFFICE BUTTON
IN THE UPPER-LEFT CORNER OF THE WORD 2010 WINDOW IS THE MICROSOFT OFFICE BUTTON. WHEN WE CLICK THE BUTTON, A MENU APPEARS. WE CAN USE THE MENU TO CREATE A NEW FILE, OPEN AN EXISTING FILE, SAVE A FILE, AND PERFORM MANY OTHER TASKS

TITLE BAR
Next to the Quick Access toolbar is the Title bar. The Title bar displays the title of the document on which we are currently working. Word names the first new document we open Document1. As we open additional new documents, Word names them sequentially. When we save we document, we assign the document a new name

RIBBON
The Ribbon is located near the top of the screen, below the Quick Access toolbar. At the top of the Ribbon are several tabs; clicking a tab displays several related command groups. Within each group are related command buttons.

TEXT AREA
Just below the ruler is a large area called the text area . We type we document in the text area.

This section allows the user to insert a cover page, blank page, tables, pictures, charts, header and footer and etc. The INSERT GROUP has the following options

Blank Page: This option provides us with following options: Inserting a blank page. Deleting a page. Page Break: If we want to break the page in a different place, we can insert a manual page break. Following options are available: Inserting a manual page break. Deleting a page break.

Default name of an Excel Sheet is book 1. Excel does not support any Bullion function. Still a spreadsheet uses the idea of a large sheet of paper into which numbers can be entered at a plumped scale.
