Re: Letter of Appointment

Dear Mr.
Further to your application and the subsequent interview you had with us, we are
pleased to inform you that you are hereby appointed as “Sales officer” in our
company w.e.r 02.04.2007 on the following terms and conditions:

1. You shall be paid consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 4000/-(Rupees Four Thousand only)
per month. Your salary and allowance will be as per the statement
2. Enclosed hereto.

3. Your Place of work will be for _____________ at New Delhi However, you may be required
to work anywhere in India or overseas, if the company so directs based on the exigencies
of work.

4. Annual increment will be based upon and granted on your satisfactory and diligent
discharges of duties. Annual increment may be withheld at the discretion of the
management in case your work / conduct is not found up to satisfaction.

5. You will be a whole time employee of the organization / Establishment and will not
undertake any other business, work either on payment or otherwise.

6. You will not give to anyone, in any manner particulars or details of any of the process or of
administrative and or organizational matter of confidential nature, to which you come
across during the course of your employment with the management.

7. Your appointment and continuation in the employment will always be subject to your
remaining physically and mentally fit and alert.

8. Your address as given in the application form will be deemed to be correct for the purpose
of sending any communication to you. In case of any change in your address, you will
inform the management / establishment about the same within 3 days.

9. You will be eligible for leaves as per the Company‘s prevailing leave policy.

10. You will abide by the Rules and Regulations, conditions of services as applicable from time
to time, governing the conduct and disciplinary matter pertaining to the management.

11. In case of any misconduct is alleged against you, the management at any time when so
considered necessary may suspend you. In case after enquiry you are exonerated of the
charges, you will be paid full salary for such suspension period.

12. You shall retire from the services of the company on attaining 58 years of age. Your date of
birth for the purpose of Company’s record is as _________ given by you.

13. You will be placed on probation for a period of six months from your date of joining. On the
successful completion of your probation period, you will be confirmed in writing. You
probation period can be extended in case the management is not satisfied with your
performance. The probation period will be assumed to have been extended until such time
as you confirmation in writing.

14. The contract of employment is terminable by either party by giving a one day notice during
probationary period and a 30 days notice on/after confirmation or on payment of one month
salary in lieu of the notice period. Either party is not bound to give any reason thereof. The
company reserves the right to recover salary in lieu of any un-served notice period. Further,
the company may at its discretion relieve you from such date as it may deem fit even
before the expiry of the notice period is not bound t o given any reason.

15. The above terms and conditions are subject to changes from time to time and the same
would be communicated to you in writing. Please sign the copy of this letter, as a token of
acceptance of your appointment on the terms and conditions mentioned above.
