AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT CLASSES ARE HERE AGAIN!

Starting the week of October 5th, 2009

Dear Beethoven Families!

School has begun and After School Enrichment classes are starting again. Classes will be 5 or 6 weeks long and
will start 15 minutes after school dismissal and will last 1 hour. If your child is in YDP, they will be directed to the
appropriate area after the class is concluded.

Mondays: 2:45 Theatre: 1st grade thru 5th grade. ▪▪▪ Cost: $65 ▪▪▪
 
Do you like acting, singing, putting on shows? Then this class is for you! Class will begin with fun theater
games, to get our creative juices flowing, then students will work on an ending performance which will
evolve from the talents of the actors (students) enrolled. Taught by actress, theater teacher, former
Beethoven parent, Ellen Gill. Come on and put on a show!
Max 15 students so hurry and enroll.

Tuesdays: 1:45 Soccer with coach Luiz Dos Santos: Kinder thru 5th grade. ▪▪▪ Cost: $65 ▪▪▪

Who doesn't know about Luiz's soccer class? Luiz was a professional soccer player in Brazil and
brings his skill and knowledge to our kids. Not only will the kids get exercise, they will learn some
real cool soccer skills!

If it’s raining or grass is saturated, class will be cancelled and will extend another week, as needed.

If LIABILITY FORMS are not returned on the second soccer class,

Student will not be allowed to attend until form is received. Previous students who have
submitted forms last session do not need to fill out another form.

Wednesday: 2:45 Mythbusters Art Lab 3rd grade thru 5th grade. ▪▪▪ Cost: $65 ▪▪▪

With Artist, Marissa Mercado….Think art only goes on walls? Think you can’t draw? Did
you think food was only for eating? Think again! Together we’ll blow away how you look at
making art. Scratch, scribble, build and learn zany new ways to use everyday stuff to express
yourself. ***Class will be held in room 28***

Thursdays: 2:45 Hip - Hop Class 2nd grade thru 5th grade. ▪▪▪ Cost: $55 ▪▪▪

Please note: this class will only be 5 weeks. Starting Oct. 15 - Nov. 12.

Boys and girls alike! will learn today's coolest dance moves, as well as contribute some of their
own, as they're combined into routines set to popular songs. Jazz-funk movements, beginning break
dancing, improvisation and musicality will be covered in a fun, positive environment!
This class will be taught by Professional Dancer, Sarah Romanowsky.

Fridays: 2:45 Singing Class Kinder thru 3rd grade. ▪▪▪ Cost: $65 ▪▪▪

Singing makes our brains happy! The songs that we'll be singing together in this class will not only
be fun, they will also empower us and make us strong.

Students will learn to sing in an ensemble, develop a sense of rhythm and will sing various styles of music
with choreographed movements to help them integrate dance and music into a well-organized
presentation or performance. Class taught by award winning songwriter, Jennifer Russell.

check, payable to FOB, for the total amount to your child’s class and complete all information requested on the form.
Enrollment should be completed as soon as possible as children will be enrolled on a first come basis.

ANY Students that are disruptive or un-behaved during class will be asked to leave and will not be allowed back in any
future After School classes.
