The mast cell activation leads to degranulation that may further release mature tryptase, thus increasing the numbers. In case of anaphylaxis, these levels increase tremendously. Anaphylaxis test: Anaphylaxis is a severe form of allergic reaction that may cause swelling of lips, tongue, breathing problems, loss of consciousness or even death.
