R. Michael Bivens, P .E. Rembco Geotechnical Contractors in Knoxville, TN Mr. Bivens is an estimator and geotechnical engineer with Rembco. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and a masters degree in Geotechnical Engineering. He has nine years of experience as an estimator and geotechnical engineer with Rembco Geotechnical Contractors in Knoxville, TN, providing geotechnical solutions nationwide. Mr. Bivens also serves as adjunct faculty at the University of Tennessee, teaching geotechnical engineering courses. Prior to working with Rembco, Mr. Bivens was a consulting engineer with AMEC Earth and Environmental, Inc., performing geotechnical investigations, civil and environmental design, and geotechnical design. Rembco is a geotechnical contractor that specializes in foundation support, soil stabilization and specialty grouting. It also provides a variety of geotechnical services including ground improvement, rock slide stabilization, excavation shoring, sinkhole remediation, encapsulation grout of hazardous materials, and controlling of underground liquid migration.
