Day 1 - Tuesday April 22 Depart from Canada for your overnight transatlantic flight to Paris.

Day 2 - Wednesday April 23

Arrival at Charles de Gaulle Airport, welcome by tour team. Proceed to downtown Paris for tour of city and group ascent of the Eiffel Tower. Welcome reception at the hotel. Free afternooon in Paris. Overnight Novotel Paris Tour Eiffel. Breakfast served on flight.

Today is a scheduled Free Day until mid-afternoon allowing you time to explore the local village of Bayeux or alternatively board the coach for the optional excursion to the Unesco World Heritage Site of Mont Saint-Michel; afternooon drive to historic Honfleur; to Dieppe for evening. Overnight Htel Mercure Dieppe La Prsidence. Breakfast.

Day 12 - Saturday May 3

Depart for Netherlands; Vught SS Concentration Camp; Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery; Market Garden Monument and John Frost Bridge; Arnhem. Evening in Apeldoorn. Overnight Bilderberg Hotel De Keizerskroon. Breakfast, Lunch.

Dieppe main beach to consider Operation Jubilee, followed by visits to the beaches at Puys and Pourville; return to the town inner harbour, followed by Dieppe Canadian War Cemetery; to Amiens for evening. Overnight Mercure Cathedrale Hotel. Breakfast.

Annual Remembrance Service at Holten Canadian War Cemetery; QOR Monument at Rha; private tour of Dutch windmill; Silent March to the local monument in Apeldoorn. Overnight Bilderberg Hotel De Keizerskroon. Breakfast, Lunch.

Day 4 - Friday April 25

Depart for the Normandy coast to consider preD-Day 'Atlantic Wall' defenses including Longues-sur-Mer and Merville Battery; visit the Memorial Pegasus Museum followed by a walk to the Caf Gondre. Overnight Hotel De Brunville Bayeux. Breakfast, Lunch.

Day 9 - Wednesday April 30

The Battle of the Somme at Beaumont-Hamel, Lochnagar Crater and other points of interest in the area; Ulster Tower Memorial, followed by Thiepval Memorial; shrapnel balling on the Somme. Overnight Mercure Atria Hotel Arras. Breakfast, Lunch.

Medieval castle tour; arrive Amsterdam for tour by coach and canal boat; leisure time in afternoon. Overnight Amsterdam Hilton. Breakfast, Lunch.

Day 15 - Tuesday May 6

Full Free Day at your leisure in Amsterdam. Overnight Amsterdam Hilton. Breakfast.

Day 5 - Saturday April 26

This morning we honour the 70th Anniversary of D-Day by walking the sands of Juno Beach at Courseulles-sur-Mer in the early hours, with storytelling and much reflection; visit beaches at Bernires-sur-Mer and Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer; Abbaye d'Ardennes and Beny-sur-Mer Canadian War Cemetery. Overnight Hotel De Brunville Bayeux. Breakfast, Lunch.

Day 10 - Thursday May 1

Day 16 - Wednesday May 7

Vimy Ridge including walking the trenches and a guided tour of the underground tunnels; poitns of interest below Vimy Ridge at Souchez; depart for Belgium, evening at Ieper. Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate. Overnight Novotel Ieper Centrum. Breakfast, Lunch.

Return flight from Amsterdam, except for those who may choose to extend their stay.

Day 6 - Sunday April 27

British landing zone at Gold Beach and the Mulberry Harbour; down into the village of Arromanches; Omaha American Landing Beach; Pointe-du-Hoc coastal battery position; La Cambe German Cemetery. Overnight Hotel De Brunville Bayeux. Breakfast, Lunch.

Day 11 - Friday May 2 Ieper (Ypres) salient including Hill 62 / Sanctuary Wood / Mount Sorrel, Kitcheners' Wood, St. Julien and The Brooding Soldier, Essex Farm; Battle of Passchendaele monument, Tyne Cot Cemetery; Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate. Overnight Novotel Ieper Centrum. Breakfast.
