Remove battery shutdown and load shutdown f uses using an insulated handle.
Lead the PGND cables into the cabinet through the cable window, and then connect the PGND cable to the ground bar.
The cables such as the PGND cable. AC power cable, DC power cable, and signal cable cannot be connected or tied together.
1. The use of the dry contact signal cables and communication cables is scenario-specific. Before installation, determine the dry contact signal cables and communication cables to be installed according to actual requirements. 2. Functions of dry contacts.
J13, J14, J4-J10 are nine dry contact sockets on the power monitoring interface board. Status, Status1, and Status2 are three circuits for the input of the detection signals of the diesel generator. Ctrl1 and Ctrl2 are two circuits for the output of the control signals of the diesel generator. ALM1-ALM7 are seven circuits for the output of the alarm signals of the diesel generator. Each circle represents the corresponding wiring terminal. The black circles are the common terminals of the constant-enabled ports and constant-disabled ports on the relays. NC represents constant-disabled port and NO represents constant-enabled port.
Remove the cover plate on the top of the cabinet. Then, lead dry contact signal cables and communication cables through the cable window to the position above dry contacts.
1. Lead and bind signal cables along the rear of the column. 2. The cables such as the PGND cable. AC power cable, DC power cable, and signal cable cannot be connected or bound together.
Dry contact
Press the white contact plates slightly using a f lat-head screwdriver. Then, insert the dry contact signal cable into the ports, and pull out the screwdriver to f asten the signal cable. Dry contact
Insert communication cables to RJ45 port on the power monitoring interf ace board according to actual installation requirements.
Do not connect the power system and the BBU with an Ethernet cable or RJ45 communication cable. If the customer requires in-band NMS management of the power system, the NMS management requires setting of the storage battery capacity. For the details of NMS setting, please see the NMS User Guide.

According to the actual installation requirements, Insert the temperature and humidity sensor signal cable and battery temperature sensor signal cable. (Optional)
1. The torque f or tightening the bolt cannot exceed 10 Nm. 2. The signal cables must be installed in the f ront of -48 V cables.
Connecting negative poles of batteries: Loosen the bolt on the top of the base of the battery negative -pole access fuse, connect the -48 V input cables to the bolt, and then tighten the bolt using a torque wrench and a adjustable wrench. The recommended torque is 20 N.m.
1. Ensure that the signal cables are installed above battery negative -pole input cables and that the battery protection circuit breaker is set to OFF. 2. When connecting battery negative-pole input cables, the exposed metal part of the torque cannot contact the fuse terminal and the positive busbar. Otherwise, a short circuit may occur. 3. The torque for tightening the bolt cannot exceed 20 Nm.

circuited using a multimeter. Ensure that the 0 V cable and -48 V cable are not short-circuited.
Insert the removed battery f uses into the corresponding positions.
Connect the battery branch: If the circuit breaker f or batteries is available, set the circuit breaker f or the battery rack or battery cabinet to ON.
1. The position of the CPM01 monitoring module, operating keyboard, and status indicator are shown in the following figure. 2. The TP48600B is working properly. When the TP48600B communicates with the main equipment, the ALM indicator on the CPM01 does not light and the RUN indicator blinks slowly. The TP48600B is working properly. When the TP48600B does not communicates with the main equipment, the ALM indicator off and the RUN indicator is on. When the TP48600B is severely faulty, the ALM indicator on the CPM01 is ON and the buzzer sounds. For details of troubleshooting methods, see the TP4848600B Maintenance Guide. 3. Press Enter in the main menu to access the submenu. To set the submenu, press Enter to save the value of the menu bar options. Press Cancel to go back to the above menu without saving the value of the menu bar options. 5. The PMU does not generate any alarm. When the current interface is not the main menu, the LCD goes dark five minutes later if you do not press any button, and the main menu is displayed eight minutes later if you do not press any button. 6. The System Control menu can operated using the user password, engineer password. The Engineer Advanced Setting menu can be operated using the engineer password. The user password and engineer password are 0# and 11# respectively and can be reset on the menu.
1. Set the battery group number, capacity, temperature alarm thresholds, time, and date according to actual conditions. 2. The number of the battery groups can be set to 0, 1, and 2. If one battery group is required, set the battery capacity according to the fuse position. For example, if the battery group is connected to fuse BF1, set the capacity to Battery Capacity 1. If the battery group is connected to fuse BF2, set the capacity to Battery Capacity 2. This guide describes the setting of two battery groups.

Power-on Check
The mains supplies power only when the parameters related to the storage battery on the CPMU01 are correctly set. Otherwise, the storage battery may be damaged.
Check whether the voltage of the LLVD fuse, battery fuse, and BLVD circuit breaker is proper using a multimeter. The rate voltage is 53.5 V and the range is between 44 V and 58 V. Check whether the panel display of the PMU is functional. If the voltage is improper or the panel display fails, contact professional personnel for troubleshooting or handle the problem by referring to the TP48600B Maintenance Guide .
Set the LLVD and BLVD circuit breaker manually to OFF. Then, check the load branches of the LLVD circuit breaker, BLVD circuit breaker, and battery fuse can be disconnected.
Insert the removed load power-off fuses into the corresponding positions. Set the LLVD, BLVD circuit breaker to ON and repeat step 1.
Set the AC input circuit breaker, LLVD circuit breaker, and BLVD circuit breaker according to actual conditions.
Cut the cabling holes on the top of the cabinet according to the cabling conditions. Clear up the site, close and lock the cabinet door, and return the key to the administrator.
