Real Life Stories

.. we believe the gospel of life begins with the message of eternal life and continues with growth in holiness.

Sherry is 22 and living at home with her parents. She had taken Depo-Provera every three months for the past year but still became

pregnant. She just took her police exam in November and is due in early March. She had visited the First Choice Womens Center in Newark last year. Rosemarie spoke to her about her relationship to Christ. she attends a church in Newark.
Jan is 24 years old who grew up in foster homes. At 16 she was adopted by a single older woman who recently died. Jan met a man while

in college and they lived together for 4 years, then she moved in with a man in Brooklyn who became abusive. She is living with a friend in Irvington for the next week or so, but desires to find a room in Union, NJ . She grew up in the church and seems open to hearing about Christ. We referred her to a Christian woman in one of our supporting churches and are seeking someone who has a room to rent.

Acts 26: 18: ..to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.'
