PROCEEDINGS
THE COURT: Okay. On the record in the
matter of Gillespie vs. Barker, Rodems &
Cook. And Madame Court Reporter, your name?
C THE REPORTER: Rebekah Lockwood.
THE COURT: Okay. And Mr. Gillespie is
here pro se. And you're
MR. RODEMS: Chris Rodems.
THE COURT: Mr. Rodems --
MR. RODEMS: Yes, ma'am.
THE COURT: -- is here on behalf of the
firm and Mr. Cook individually.
MR. RODEMS: Correct.
THE COURT: And I had spoken to
Mr. Gillespie last week, and he informed me
he was in need of a court order to follow up
on his motion for voluntary dismissal. And

then
MR. GILLESPIE: Judge, can I interrupt
for a minute?
THE COURT: Hold the phone. And since
that time I've been told he filed a couple
more motions. And I informed him that he had
set orally at our last hearing that he was
going to be filing a verified motion to
disqualify myself and just I'm making a
record, I haven't received it. Now, go
ahead.
MR. GILLESPIE: I have a copy of it for
you.
THE COURT: Is this it?
MR. GILLESPIE: Yes, Judge.
THE COURT: Okay. Thank you. All
right. Now that I've received it, we can't
proceed on any of the pending motions until I
issue a ruling on this. And --
MR. RODEMS: We'll await your ruling.
THE COURT: Okay. All right. And the
Court cannot qualify -- comment on the
truthfulness of any of the allegations. I
just rule on whether or not it's sufficient
as a matter of law.

MR. GILLESPIE: Thank you, Judge. And
can I say something about a notice of
voluntary dismissal that I filed?
MR. RODEMS: I would object to that.
That would be inappropriate at this point
given the Court's ruling.
MR. GILLESPIE: I'll give you a copy of
it anyway. And you already have a copy of
it, so --
THE COURT: Okay. Thank you, sir.
MR. GILLESPIE: Thank you, Judge.
