Schemes and Subjects for the Preliminary Examination


The Preliminary Examination shall consist of three papers of Total 500 Marks as follows. Paper No. Subject Marks Duration

* Verbal skill means language proficiency in written and oral communication testing the ability of candidate to comprehend, explain, analyse and paraphrase the language. Note: 1. The syllabus for the entire there question papers shall be such as may be prescribed and notified by commission. 2. The standard and course content of the syllabus for Paper 1 shall be Twelfth standard of Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. 3. The standard and the course content of the syllabus for General Studies paper shall be of a degree level. 4. The question paper shall be of the objective type (Multiple Choice questions). 5. The blind candidates may be allowed an extra time of fifteen minutes for Paper 1 to 2 Twenty Minutes for paper 3.
