OPTIONs
Add Observer Rie team for +15 points. Add PTRD anti-tank rie teams to Howitzer Platoons for +10 points per team. Add horse-drawn wagon, horse-drawn limbers and Stalinets tractors for +5 points per battery. Like the troops they supported the artillery battalions of a shock division are seasoned veterans of the war. Their rapid and accurate re will help the assault troops breakthrough by pinning the Germans down in their cowardly trenches. The full weight of the battalion is eight 76mm ZIS-3 eld guns and four 122mm obr 1938 howitzers. The 76mm guns are light and build low, enabling the brave gunners to wheel their weapons to the frontline by hand, if need be, to engage the facist tanks and gun emplacements holding up our valiant infantrymen. The older 122mm howitzers are not as mobile as the eld guns, but they add a tremendous amount of repower. They can sit back and bombard the enemy with high-explosive shells.
