CELEBREMOS EL VERDADERO
SENTIDO DE HALLOWEEN
En Inglés la palabra, ‘Halloween,’ significa ‘víspera del
todos los santos’ (‘eve of All Saints’) y se debe celebrar no
con disfraces de brujas y monstruos sino con los de los
Santos de la Iglesia Católica. Por lo tanto, éste año
invitamos a todos los niños y sus padres a participar en una
celebración muy especial en la noche de Halloween. La
celebración se llevará a cabo el sábado, 31 de Octubre, en
el salón de la Iglesia a las 6:30pm. Los niños que quieren
ser parte de este gran evento deben venir en vestido de un
santo católico. Habrá una piñata, dulces para todos y
premios para los niños con el mejor disfraz. SÁBADO, el
31 de OCTUBRE (noche de HALLOWEEN), a las
6:30pm, en salón de la Iglesia (esquina de la 20 y
Pasadena).

CLUB PARA CHICAS
Invitamos a las jovencitas de la parroquia de
las edades de 10 a 14 años a formar parte de
nuestro CLUB para chicas. Las reuniones
serán cada segundo sábado del mes de 9:30 a
11:30 AM comenzando con la primera el 19
de septiembre y seguirán reuniéndose hasta el
mes de mayo. Aprenderán artes manuales, a
cocinar, coser, modales y reglas de urbanidad,
y charlas de fe. El costo por los nueve meses
será solo $10 dólares. Para mas información
llame a la notaria parroquial.
NO TODAS LAS ‘IGLESIAS
CATÓLICAS’ LO SON
Puede ser que el templo se mira como
un templo Católico o que tienen allí
una imagen de la Virgen de Guadalupe o
de otros Santos Católicos. También
puede ser que el llamado ‘Padre’ se viste
como sacerdote y que allí dan ‘Misas’.
Nada de esto garantiza que son
Católicos verdaderos en comunión con
el Papa Benedicto.
Tristemente, hay un numero creciente
de sectas nuevas que insisten que son 'Católicas' pero
rechazan la autoridad del Papa y las demás doctrinas
Católicas. Engañan a la gente no instruida que va en busca de
los Sacramentos de la Iglesia. Muchas de estas sectas son
‘negocios’ más que nada y así se están aprovechando de la
gente crédula. Los señores encargados de aquellas sectas,
aunque se visten de ‘Padres,’ no están interesados en la
salvación del alma.
¡Cuidado con aquellas sectas! Y anote bien: un Católico
debe asistir a Misa y recibir los Sacramentos solamente en
una parroquia ‘registrada’ con la Iglesia Católica, Apostólica
y Romana. Si no, los llamados ‘Sacramentos’ recibidos no
son lícitos en los ojos de la Iglesia Católica, Apostólica y
Romana.
Si usted tiene una duda sobre una Iglesia específica, llame
a la notaría parroquial. Tenemos en la oficina un directorio
de todas las parroquias que están en comunión con el Papa y
con el Cardenal Mahony.
CUIDADO: Una de las ‘Iglesias’ locales que
rechaza la autoridad infalible del Papa es la
llamada ‘Guadalupe’ ubicada en la calle Carson y
también la ‘Santísima Trinidad en la Woodruff.
