He received his Bachelor of Law in 1963, and was appointed the same year in
the Prosecution office, then rose up the chain of judiciary, until he became vicepresident of the Cassation Court. He was elected the president of the Alexandria
Judges club on May 7th, 2004.

He is considered one of the most prominent leaders of "The Judiciary


Independence Movement.

Egyptian lawyer and former deputy head of the Egyptian Court of Cassation.

Published several research papers and legal articles.

El-Khoudery was elected as a Member of Parliament in 2011, representing The


Second District, Alexandria.

Arrest:
The Coup forces arrested him on Saturday 21st November in " Sidi Gaber " district,
Alexandria. They accused him of torturing 11 people, a year and a half prior.

Movement and his transfer to the
criminal court, decision caused broad
discontent in political, judicial and human rights circles.

Chancellor Khoudery was transferred from "Tora " prison to " Scorpion " prison and he
was treated like the most dangerous of criminals. His health has deteriorated due to
intentionally depriving him of his medication by prison officials. He finally had to be
transferred to the prison hospital. The prison guards informed his family that all of these

actions are because of orders from above, with special instructions to make it difficult for
him.
Chancellor Khoudery is 73 years old, and he has severe vision impairment, and he
suffers from health problems that make his movement difficult, and in need of help for
mobility.
Chancellor Khoudery is considered an example of patience, persistence and a
challenge against injustice and tyranny.
