Economic Trends Advance

Design Innovation
There is one thing for sure
in today’s economy: nothing
is standing still. The markets
are constantly moving up and
down. This has given pause
to homeowners’ notions
about kitchen design and
home renovation.

“ Gail has an amazing talent for utilizing space to its

fullest potential. What impressed us most: How every-
thing came together and ended up being more beautiful
than we imagined. She really understood our needs and
was patient with our decision making process.” - Homeowners

solutions: The traditional environment of this career couple’s recently acquired home didn’t
fit their lively and entertaining lifestyle. Design solutions included modernizing
the feel and look throughout the home, with an emphasis on renovating the kitchen
and the master bath. Expanding the kitchen made room for both cooks and
removing walls opened the space to the existing family room. Coordinated colors,
materials and cabinetry enliven the space. The simplicity of the adjoining living areas
emphasizes the home’s beauty and lends a signature backdrop for entertaining.

solutions: This Aurora homeowner knew exactly what she did and did not want in her
master bath. Cindy’s overall vision for remodeling her home’s master bath was a
casual rustic look. The color and texture of the materials selection was extremely
important to her and key to the overall design. Along with the redesign and the
addition of natural materials, updating the vanity, tub and steam shower trans-
formed this bath into a magically relaxing retreat.

“If I were to use a one word description of my new master suite

it would be ‘wonderful’ or perhaps ‘heavenly.’ It is so warm and
inviting to walk into, and the colors and textures of products are
so earthy and natural feeling.” - Homeowner
