Boarding Contract

This is a Contract between Sunnidale Boarding Kennels (hereafter known as Kennel) and the pet Owner. Kennel agrees to exercise due and reasonable care, and to keep the kennel premises sanitary and properly enclosed. The pet(s) is (are) to be fed properly and regularly, and to be housed in clean, safe quarters. All dogs are boarded or are otherwise handled or cared for by Kennel staff without liability on Kennels part for loss or damage from disease, re, theft, escape, illness, injury or harm to pet, persons other dogs or property by said dog(s), or for other unavoidable causes, due diligence and care having been exercised. In no case shall the Kennel be held in any way liable or responsible. Any legal action led by either party in an effort to enforce this Contract shall be lled in Clearview Township , Ontario. In any event the Kennel cannot be held responsible for a claim of any nature greater than $100. All charges incurred by Owner shall be payable upon pickup of pet(s). Owner further agrees that pet(s) shall not leave Kennel until all charges are paid to Kennel by Owner. Kennel shall have, and is hereby granted, a lien on the pet(s) for any and all unpaid charges resulting from boarding pet(s) at Kennel. If the pet becomes ill or if the state of the animals health otherwise requires professional attention, Kennel, at its sole discretion, may engage the services of a veterinarian of its choosing, or administer medicine or give other requisite attention to the animal, and the expenses thereof shall be paid by Owner. If the pet is not picked up by two weeks after the agreed pickup date, the pet shall be considered abandoned and will be signed over to the Humane Society or similar agency or be placed by the Kennel in a permanent home. Owner is responsible for all bills, boarding and expenses incurred by this forfeiture of the pet(s). reserved. the parties. Furthermore, Owner agrees to provide Kennel with no less than ve days notice to cancel a reservation, or else will be held responsible to pay boarding fees in full for the total number of days It is understood by Kennel and Owner that all provisions of this Contract shall be binding upon both parties there unto for this visit and for all subsequent visits.
