Weaknesses: Star Citys main weakness comes in the way people perceived the amusement park. 1. Star City is old and has been operating since 1991. Most of the kiddie rides are old but functional. The rides are not photogenic at all but they get the job done in entertaining the kids. 2. Adult rides placed indoors. (Blizzard) 3. Carnival Layout. In the effort to bring everything indoors, they sacrificed the zonings and location of the rides. 4. Marketing is poor. The website is outdated with photos that are not updated. Their brochure is only a map with outdated attractions. 5. There are accidents that already happened here that led to the death of girl who fell from Wild River last 2006 and a man who fell from Star Flyer last 2009. Opportunities: There are some opportunities that the park should consider in order to boost their number of visitors. 1. Near Star City is the Star Theater and Aiw Theater. After every show itineraries in the said theatres, people can go and spend time in Star City. 2. Parking Space. There is no room for hassle for people going to the said amusement park for there is an appropriate place and time for their cars to be parked. PARK LOCATION: Star City is located at Star City, Sotto St., CCP Complex Roxas Blvd., Pasay City. PARK SCHEDULE: Monday Thursday 4:00 PM onwards | Friday, Saturday Sunday/Holiday 2:00 PM onwards 3. Promo Packages. School Tours, Birthday Parties, or any Corporate Events. A school field trip like no other, not just a memorable birthday celebration but an exciting one, a unique place for organizing company events/outing would be peculiar if spent in Star City. 4. Apart from the usual rides, the annual events and shows have great crowd pulling potential. 5. By introducing new attractions/rides from time to time, the park can attract more and more visitors.

Threats: 1. Although Star City has proven to be a successful amusement park, it also has its competitors: Enchanted Kingdom in Laguna and Gloria Fantasyland, housed inside Gloria de Dapitan in Dapitan. Enchanted Kingdom is a theme park that boasts of rides and attractions within seven meticulously themed zones interspersed with food and merchandise outlets and kiosks as well as various game stands also added to the enchanting experience, away from the day -to-day realities of life. Glorias Fantasyland is a world class theme park located in Dapitan City it is the biggest theme park outside of Metro Manila and is comparable to Luzons Enchanted Kingdom and Star City, and maybe even Disneyland, an international theme park; the park does not look like a perya as others may think it is it has a land area of almost 4 hectares with several state of the art rides that has colorful and attractive designs and lightings, and entertainment shows that both kids and adults will surely enjoy the fun and thrilling experience. 2. Direct Competition. There are rides that are similar to those rides in Enchanted Kingdom such as Wild River (aka Jungle Log Jam), Viking (aka Anchors Away) and Zyklon Loop (aka Space Shuttle). A possibility that people might compare which park would give them a better experience in riding these extreme rides. 3. Food price. There are a lot of food stalls inside the park but most of these offer more expensive treats as compared to those in front or outside Star City. Star Citys extra income might be at stake. 4. The park operates in a very competitive environment, where lack of innovation can prove to be a disaster. COMPETITORS! 1. Enchanted Kingdom in Laguna 2. Gloria Fantasyland, housed inside Gloria de Dapitan in Dapitan.
