Header-The special feature attracts the magazine over others as it stands out due to its hierarchy. In this case a bold black typography has been used. A change in style of font has been used to make it stand out. The various size of boldness shows the key attraction to the audience. By using text such as special makes the reader want to buy it as they will be missing out therefore promoting more of an audience. Main Sell Line- The man sell line indicates of whom the main image is of. It promotes the genre of music relating to the magazine again. Here the use of the style of typography shows this cheeky and unconventional side to the Rap industry. A double layer wouldnt typically be used but in this case communicates the style of music and in my idea links the theme of graffiti running in the background. The double layover of two contrasting colour allows a bold and stand out effect. There are few other cover lines promoted. One is a quote from what we assume is the interview with Dizzee Rascal. Not only does this once again indicate that theres an interview with this icon but also promotes people to buy the magazine to find out more from this one line. Another is a PUG of which the red alarms the reader to this piece. Pavement Reunion shows the idea of news of which people may find these an icon or exciting promoting more audience.

Masthead- A purpose of masthead is firstly, for the magazine to standout against others. In this case a bold text has been used with the colour red for the typography. For a colour in general this alarms the reader catching there attention and stands out against the plain white background. The typography has been embossed by a border to stand out even more. The style of the typography fits with the modern association of music that is the genre of topic. This bold text creates a brand that the audience associates with the magazine. It means the brand become recognisable towards the genre of music. Main Image- The main image allows the audience to known the main focus of the magazine. It promotes the genre of music magazine through the genre of artist thats featuring upon the front. Main images tend to be medium closes up but in this case we see a squatting, full length image. We assume its a long shot however its more similar to a close up shot of his body due to the position. Its through this idea of Dizzee Rascal being a fun and cheeky Rap artist promoting the idea of break rules like the way hes broke the convention here. The image comes across to us as jokey and fun. By having a celebrity on the front means more audience will be attracted to see the contents of the magazine as to some he will appear as an icon. The mise-en-scene of the shot also fits with his genre of music and therefore the magazine portrayal. From the style of clothes hes wearing to the graffiti in the background indicates the genre and therefore promotes the correct audience.

Barcode/Date/Issue Number- These are key features of all magazines as they are needed to sell a magazine. The barcode is needed in the purchasing. A date can indicate to the audience whether this is the most up to date issue the same as the issue number can also do.

The magazine only has a few cover lines of which is conventional. Continuing, the main areas such as the left has been filled with the typical right being left blank.

Footer- The + at the start of the footer indicates that there are a large number of more features to come. The listing of artist provides more icons for the audience to be promoted to. From the range of artist we can see that there are large genres of artist types. It indicates to us that the music magazine focuses at mature people who enjoy more than simply one genre of music.
