The municipality of Concepcion, Tarlac has a terrain that is generally flat and is also part of the Pampanga river basin with a total land area of 24570 hectares The land distribution of Concepcion! "5#"7 $$ hectares are agricultural land, 45 hectares are commercial, 7%# hectares are residential, %2 hectares are &ndustrial'(gro)&ndustrial 7$%7 0" hectares are for *thers +rivers, cree,s, lahar affected areas, open areas and institutional.a/ority of the land area are agricultural land and to ensure the efficient and effective utili0ation of the land for rice and agricultural production the necessary infrastructure are built to irrigate and protect other areas from flooding ad/acent to agricultural land this irrigation and flood control facilities are listed in the table below Inventory of Flood Control Structures (as of December 2011)
