State Name Alabama Bill/Resolution Number HJR 49 and SJR 23. Status of Bill/Resolution HJR is currently pending in the House Rules Committee. SJR is currently pending in the Senate Rules Committee. Both SB 199 and SB 200 are currently pending third reading on day 7 Favorable from Senate Committee on Constitution, Campaign Finance, Ethics, and Elections. Both HJR 22 and HJR 284 are currently pending in the House State Affairs Committee, while SJR 18 is currently pending in the Senate State Affairs Committee.

And relating to the selection and limitation of the power of delegates to a convention are: SB 199 and SB 200. Alaska HJR 22, HJR 284, and SJR 18.

Arizona

HCR 2017, HCR 2027, and HB 2305.

HCR 2017, HCR 2027, and HB 2305 are currently pending in the House Federalism and Fiscal Responsibility Committee, or (House FFR Committee). HB 2397 is currently pending in the House RULES Committee. HB 2433 is currently pending in the House FRR Committee. SB 1360 is currently pending in the Senate RULES Committee.

And relating to the selection and limitation of the power of delegates to a convention are: HB 2397, HB 2433, and SB 1360.

California

AJR 1

Passed the California Assembly on January 30, 2014, then sent to the state Senate where it is currently pending in the Senate Rules Committee.

Florida

HM 261, HM 381, HM 625, SM 368, SM 476, and SM 658

HM 261, HM 381, and HM 625, are currently pending in the Local and Federal Affairs Committee. SM 368, SM 476 and SM 658 were all favorably passed by the Judiciary Committee, on February 11, 2014. HB 609 is currently pending in the House Civil Justice Subcommittee; Ethics and Elections Subcommittee; Judiciary Committee. Passed the George State Senate on February 4, 2014, then sent to the state House where it is currently pending in the House Judiciary Committee.

Idaho

SB 1289 and SCR 134

Both SB 1289 and SCR 134 were introduced in the Idaho State Senate on January 5, 2014; both have yet to be assigned

to their respective committees.

Iowa

HJR 5 (2013) democracy

Still active and pending in the House State Government Committee, since January 29, 2013 (last year).

Kentucky

HCR 86

HCR 86 is currently pending in the House Elections, Const. Amendments & Intergovernmental Affairs Committee.

Maryland

SJR 6 and HJR 7 are the Democracy Amendment. HJR 4

SJR 6 is currently pending in the Senate Education Health and Environmental Affairs Committee. Both HJR 4 and HJR 7 are currently pending in the House Rules and Executive Nominations Committee.

Michigan

HJR BB, HJR CC, and SJR V

SJR V passed the Michigan State House on November 7, 2013; then sent to the state Senate, where it is currently alive and pending in the House Financial Liability Reform Committee. HJR BB is currently pending in the House Committee on Government Operations. HJR CC is currently pending in the House Committee on Financial Liability Reform.

Mississippi

SCR 542

SCR 542 is currently pending in the Senate Rules Committee.

New Hampshire

New Mexico

HJR 548, HJR 557, and SJR 493. And relating to the selection and limitation of the power of delegates to a convention are HB 1379, SB 1394, and SB 1432.

HJR 548, HJR 557, and HB 1379 are all currently pending in the House State Government Subcommittee. Both SJR 493 and SB 1394 are currently pending in the Senate Judiciary Committee. SB 1432 is currently pending in the Senate State & Local Government Committee.

Utah

Virginia

HJR 9, HJR 23, and SJR 71. And relating to the selection and limitation of the power of delegates to a convention are HB 437 and SB 105.

As of January 10, 2014, all of these Con-Conrelated resolutions have been defeated.

West Virginia

Relating to the selection and limitation of the power of delegates to a convention is HB 3029.

HB 3029 is currently pending in the House Judiciary Committee.

Wisconsin

AJR 81 And relating to the selection and limitation of the power of delegates to a convention is AB 635.

Both AJR 81 and AB 635 are currently pending in the House Rules Committee.

Wyoming

Relating to the selection and limitation of the power of delegates to a convention is HB 27.

HB 27 was received for introduction in the Wyoming House of Representatives on February 10, 2014.
