Suzanne Kite is an artist, performer, violinist, composer, and producer from Southern California who combines electronic music and ephemeral soundscapes. Suzannes work includes arrangements for big bands, sound sculpture, gallery installations, text scores, electronic productions, film scores, and video compositions. She has performed on various albums for hip-hop producers, rock bands, and folk groups. Growing up in the rave scene of Los Angeles, she is passionate about a wide range of electronic dance music genres, especially drum & bass music, and realizing them for live ensembles. Drawing inspiration from many areas, Suzanne is heavily influenced by works of poetry, short stories, metaphysics, political theory and philosophy. Recently, Suzanne has been developing video & sound installations, and has released her first album, ile. Her solo performances include computer, violin, voice, dance, & video projection.
