PREFACE
The idea to have this project was first conceived by the Netherlands Business Support Office (NBSO, Ahmedabad). The project was then delegated to First year MBA students of the B.K. School of Business Management, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. The information was collected from government reports, company & organization reports, the internet and personal interviews with government officials and industry officers. This study aims to foster cooperation between the Netherlands and Gujarat in the Energy sector and highlight the business opportunities for the Dutch in Gujarat. This is a first of its kind attempt in this direction, nevertheless its a good beginning for the Gujarat and Netherlands to: Enhance exchange and expand cooperation Strengthen their relationship and engagement as partners Start a dialogue to identify business development activities with emphasis on the above mentioned sector Promote information, bilateral investment, training and expert exchanges among businesses and agencies for economic activities, skill development and investment promotion as well as business associations
