Travelling north today we will visit the ancient sea-port of Caesarea, the site of Herods Palace, home of Cornelius and where Paul was brought to trial. Afterwards, we travel to the Crusader Capital Ancient Acco or Acre as it is known today, stopping off at Haifa along the way. Overnight Acco. (B-D)

We travel to Mount Carmel and Muhraqa, where Elijah called down fire from Heaven to defeat the prophets of Baal. Passing through the Megiddo Valley, we see the large plain where the final battle of Armageddon is prophesied to take place and visit Tel Megiddo a city of Solomon. Our journey then takes us to Nazareth where Jesus grew to manhood visiting the Church of Annunciation, (Luke 1:26-38) which covers the boyhood home of Jesus. We spend time at Nazareth Village recreating village lifestyle during the time of Jesus experiencing the Nazareth Jesus knew! From there we will visit the Mount of the Precipice where Jesus was driven by the crowd. (Luke 4:16-30) Continuing on as we round the crest of a hill the SEA OF GALILEE unfolds in a breathtaking panoramic scene before our eyes.Overnight Galilee. (B-D)

Today, we explore this historical area of Galilee. Our special traditional sailing vessel will take us across the Sea of Galilee, stopping in the middle for a time of reflection and worship. We disembark at Nof Ginnosar a kibbutz located on the shores of the Galilee where we will see the remains of a boat from the time of Jesus. Arriving later to CAPERNAUM, the city of Jesus, we visit the ruins of the synagogue where Jesus performed many miracles.
We will visit ST PETERS PRIMACY CHURCH. You will see the new excavations of ST PETERS house and visit TABGHA, where Jesus multiplied the loaves and fishes to feed the multitudes. Later we ascend to the top of the MOUNT OF BEATITUDES, where we will read the Sermon on the Mount. Enjoy a St Peters Fish lunch in a restaurant by the Sea of Galilee. Overnight Galilee. (B-D)

Departing from Tiberias we travel north climbing the heights of the Galilee to the centre of Jewish Kabbalah and mysticism, Safed. Stroll through the streets at leisure to visit ancient Synagogues and the many studios featuring the work of famous Israeli artists. We continue to the source of the Jordan River on the slopes of Mt Hermon where St Peter made his confession at CAESAREA PHILIPPI. We also make a visit to Banias.
Before returning to our hotel we will drive up to the Golan Heights where miracles took place in the Six Day War of 1967. Overnight Galilee. (B-D)

Today we travel south, following the Jordan Valley to the Decapolis city of BeitShean where King Sauls body was hung on the walls of the city. Continue on to visit the ancient city of Jericho and then to the baptismal site of John the Baptist before travelling along the Dead Sea, visiting Ein Gedi and Qumran on our way to our resort hotel where we will float in the Dead Sea. This morning we ascend by cable car the mighty fortress of MASADA, built by King Herod, the site of the last heroic 3-year stand of 960 Jewish defenders against the Roman Empire. From its heights we enjoy tremendous views of Jordan and the Dead Sea.
From here we travel west to Beer Sheva and visit the Park of the Australian Soldier, the British Cemetery where Australian, New Zealand and British soldiers lay at rest together, Tel es Saba where the NZ Mounted Rifles and some Australians took the high place, Chauvels Hill from where we can view the plain where the 800 Australian Light horsemen rode into history with their famous charge and the Biblical site of Abrahams well.Overnight Beer Sheva. This morning make the short journey to Bethlehem to visit the Church of Nativity. En route, see Rachels Tomb and spend some special moments in the Shepherds Fields. Time in Bethlehem, at the Three Arches Souvenir Shop, for some good souvenir shopping. Driving towards Jerusalem we will stop on Mt Scopus to see the incredible view of the Old City and visit the British War Cemetery there. Lunch at Yad Vashem and spend the remainder of our day at this very moving Memorial to the lives taken during the Holocaust. Optional: Go to King of Kings Church for Praise Jerusalem in the evening. A full day of touring Old Jerusalem including the Church of the Ascension at Bethany, Mount of Olives, Palm Sunday Road, and the Garden of Gethsemane. Enter into the Old City through Lions Gate visit the Pools of Bethesda, St. Annes Church and the Antonia Fortress. Walk the Way of the Cross along the Via Dolorosaand visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. From there we walk to Christ Church at Jaffa Gate.
