5 Jailbreak for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, & iPod touch 4G released [Updated]

After the fiasco of the untethered iOS 7 jailbreak being released 24 hours ago by the evad3rs, iH8sn0w and winocm released their long awaited untethered iOS 6.1.3 & 6.1.5 jailbreak for the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and iPod touch 4G. Here are the requirements posted on the iH8sn0w blog: 1) Have a tethered jailbreak (either via redsn0w [Point to 6.0 IPSW] or sn0wbreeze). 2) Open Cydia. 3) Click the Changes tab in the footer. 4) Press the Refresh button in the top left corner. 5) After Reloading Data, perform a search for p0sixspwn (the O is a zero). 6) Tap Install. Thats it! Youre untethered. If youre not tethered jailbreak and you would like a walkthrough, then go to this post or watch this video below: [Update 1] There is a problem with the untethered jailbreak package for iPhone 4 GSM model users. iH8sn0w is going to fix this very shortly so stay tuned. [Update 2] iH8sn0w has given us a workaround if youre on the iPhone 4 GSM. Heres his instructions straight from his blog: iPhone 4 (GSM) bootloop fix: 1) Download this Java runtime binary of msftguys SSH RD Creator. 2) Put your iPhone 4 into DFU and wait for it to tell you to connect to localhost:2022 3) If youre on a Mac, use terminal and type ssh root@localhost -p 2022. If youre on a PC, grab PuTTY and type localhost in Hostname, and 2022 under Port. 4) Enter root for the User Name. 5) Enter alpine for the Password. 6) Copy & Paste this one line bash command: while [ ! -d /mnt2/mobile ]; do mount.sh; done; printf \xD3\x8E\x95\xD4\x44\x47\x32\x2E\xA1\x5F\x9F\x9B\xE7\xE8\x8F\xDC | dd of=/mnt2/untether/untether bs=1 seek=1120 conv=notrunc; printf \x00 | dd of=/mnt2/untether/untether bs=1 seek=27099 conv=notrunc; nvram auto-boot=true; sync; reboot;

7) Press ENTER. 8) Thats it. [Update 3] iH8sn0w has added another method to fix the iPhone 4 GSM issue. Method #2: 1) Download this custom tar bundle 2) Open redsn0w 3) Select the 6.0 IPSW for the iPhone 4. 4) Click the back button and click Jailbreak. 5) Follow on screen prompts until you get to the series of checkboxes. 6) Checkmark Install Custom bundle 7) Browse to where you downloaded the custom tar bundle in step 1. 8) Click next. 9) After reboot, all should be well. The untether package will return to Cydia shortly. If youre not technically inclined, you may want to stay away from this workaround and just wait for the actual package that will be back on Cydia shortly. [Update 4] The package has been updated to fix the iPhone 4 GSM issue. Please follow this post for more information. hello, i did tethered jailbreak success and untethered as well. but the problem is it still keeps searching for the network. any ideas why? i have Iphone 3gs with baseband 05.6.08, version 6.1.3. serial 86139XX3EDG please help

hi i aslo have iphone 3gs. the only thing i know is you just need to make your baseband 5.13.04 then download untrasn0w in cydia then thats it. that what i did when i encountered that also.

on my iPhone 3GS didn't work....after JB with redsn0w 6.0.0. tethered 6.1.3 and installing from Cydia p0sixspwn the phone is stucked on apple logo (sorry for bad english) - tried 2 times If for some reason p0sixspwn doesnt show up for you in Cydias default repositories, addhttp://repo.ih8sn0w.com as a repo on Cydia and install the p0sixspwn untether package from there. thank you sir for your help 12\24 13:30. DID NOT work on iPhone 3GS 6.1.3. DID NOT work on iPad 1 with 6.1.3. DID NOT work on iPad 2 with 6.1.5 I have been doing tethered and untethered JBs for years and this tricky shortcut isn't reliable. If this JB was worth the effort it would be 1 complete package and not an "add-on" process. well i did it in about 10mins,after 1st try(and no Jailbreaking experience hardly),so they did something right eh. maybe you should quit bitchin & 'concentrate' & retry Works! It Works on my iphone 3GS Baseband 5.13 :v had 6.1.3 redsn0w tethered for a few months,.. just found this untethered fix, tried and worked first time. many thanks (iphone 4 GSM) after I activat my iphone 5 all icon is not working( I bought this iphone form street guy) i followed all the instruction and now i've been waiting for it to reboot... how long will it take for it to reboot? why i cant install the link in my desktop?? anyone could give me step by step to do it?? please :(( Untethered 3gs 6.1.3 just fine.. BUT.. ultrasn0w does not work now...while it was fine 10 minutes ago.... (no cell service). Help! Nice... my 3GS works perfect... only my Weather can't open... anyone can help? The untethered jailbreak works and everything is fine except for cell service. I have a 3GS with baseband 6.15.00 that was jailbroken on 4.3.3 and worked on t-mobile. Now I can't get a cell signal on 6.1.3 on the same baseband. How can this be fixed? Thanks. The key for me was to start from scratch and to checkmark the install cydia and downgrade baseband to 05.13.04 during the jailbreak process at the same time. Then I installed p0sixspwn rebooted and then ultrasn0w. (6.15.00 was working on 4.3.3 on t-mobile before I upgraded to 6.1.3 via itunes) It works for iPhone 3gs with iOS 6.1.3 baseband 05.16.08 !! But takes more than 4 mins to boot after the restart !!

I have iPod touch 4g iOS 6.1.5. I jailbroke tethered though redsn0w and I can't find p0sixspwn on cydia. Is there some source to be added? Help! I have iphone 4 verizon. I am running Windows 7. I downloaded redsn0w v0.9.15b3 and iphone3,36.0_10A403_Restore.ipsw. I keep getting stuck at "Exploiting limera1n..." Here is what I have tried: 1. right click redsn0w, properties, compatibility and select "run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3, apply 2. right click redsn0w, run as admin 3. 6.1.3 & 6.1.5 3GS/A4 untether Cydia package

Hello everyone, With the unexpected release of the evasi0n7 jailbreak, we are finally able to release the 3GS/A4 6.1.3 + 6.1.5 untether Cydia package. To grab it... 1) Have a tethered jailbreak (either via redsn0w [Point to 6.0 IPSW] or sn0wbreeze). 2) Open Cydia. 3) Click the "Changes" tab in the footer. 4) Press the "Refresh" button in the top left corner. 5) After "Reloading Data", perform a search for "p0sixspwn" (the O is a zero). 6) Tap Install. That's it! You're untethered. I'll be updating sn0wbreeze to incorporate the untether directly later (No eta :P). Our next priority is getting an A5+ jailbreak for 6.1.3/6.1.4 out. As I stated on Twitter, we expect it should be out by Christmas day. So if you don't feel like upgrading to iOS 7 and prefer 6.1.3/6.1.4, sit tight for a bit. :) A guaranteed drama-free untether (hopefully :]).
