IDEI identifies and/or design technologies that are affordable, have high impact on alleviating poverty, are produced locally, are environmentally sustainable, and provide a return on investment of at least 100% in the shortest period of time IDEI makes these available in local markets through private suppliers On demand side, IDEI stimulates demand through rural promotions.
