EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Bank is an institution that deals in money and its substitutes and provides crucial financial services. Strategy is an action that managers take to attain one or more of the organizations goals. Bank uses Community marketing, Product bundling, Pre approved Products, Teller Referrals, Premier Services. Strategy is a well defined readmap of an organization. It defines the overall mission, vision and direction of an organization. The objective of a strategy is to maximize an organizations strengths and to minimize the strengths of the competitors. Strategy, in short, bridges the gap between where we are and where we want to be Commercial bank increases their business by catering to needs of all size of business by using its strategies i.e. Dedicated Customer Services, Extra Services, Paperwork, Personal Approach. Banks also uses marketing strategies day to day by using 7 Ps of marketing mix.

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY


1) To understand the meaning and concept of Banking Business Strategies 2) To understand the need of Banking Business Strategies in India 3) To acquire knowledge about the various strategies used by the banks for increase the volume of their business. 4) To know how the banks faces their problems by using their new strategies. 5) To understand the importance of this banking strategies. 6) To study the Banking Strategy in SBI and ICICI Bank.

This project report has been prepared with keeping following objects in mind, a) To understand the meaning and concept of Banking Business Strategies b) To understand the need of Banking Business Strategies in India c) To acquire knowledge about the various strategies used by the banks for increase the volume of their business. d) To know how the banks faces their problems by using their new strategies. e) To understand the importance of this banking strategies

The data for the research was collected through primary and secondary sources which are as follows

1) Primary dataVisited ICICI Bank, Vasai Road. 2) Secondary Data Websites on Internet.

Limitations in Research
No research in world is free from any limitations. I had made an every honest attempt to make this project report a complete and comprehensive report. However there were some limitations in my research. The following are the limit of my project :1) The first limitation was that I could not get adequate and latest statistical data which was necessary for the research as either it was not available or not compiled according to the requirements of project study. 2) The second limitation was that I didnt get any books on Banking Business Strategies.
