Neh 8:10 10 For the joy of the LORD is your strength. (KJV) We are living in a day that we have so many weak Christians, and the root of the problem is a lack of joy. Your strength e!e is "eter#ine" $y your joy e!e . Whats the easiest thing for you to lose? Your glasses? Your keys? Your mind? Your Phone? The easiest thing of all to lose is your joy. Do you allow people and circumstance to steal your Joy? Do you e ery find yourself like Da id who lost the joy of his sal ation? !David had the joy, but now he is asking God to restore his joy" %s &1:1' 1' Restore unto #e the joy of thy s( !(tion. (KJV) The word #restore# implies that it is something that the Psalmist once had and needed to reco er. !Do you need your joy restored?" $e find Da id in !' )(#.*:1+" dancing before the %ord with all his mighty. !Did you use to dance& but now the dance is gone?" 'n !Vs.1&" we find Da id and all the (ouse of 'srael shouting with the sound of trumpet. !Did you use to shout& but now the shout is gone?" The secret of Christain joy: The secret of )hristian joy is to belie e what God says in (is $ord and act upon it. * faith that is based upon the $ord will produce joy that will weather the storms of life. *s Jeremiah said in (Jer.1&:1*)+ Your $ords were found& and ' ate them& and Your $ord was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart. *s (%s.1,:8) says+ The statues of the %ord are right& rejoicing the heart. 'n (%s.11,:1*') it says+ ' rejoice at Your $ord as one who finds great

treasures. 'n ,ible days people would hide their wealth in jars buried in the ground. 'f a farmer was plowing his field and suddenly disco ered a jar filled with gold& he would rejoice. This is the application that the Psalmist was using in rejoicing at (is $ord as one who finds great treasures. What is the Kingdom of God? The ,ible talks a lot about the -ingdom of God& in !Ro.1+:1-" we find what the -ingdom of God is not& and what the -ingdom of God is. The -ingdom of God is/ 0ighteousness. Peace& Joy in the (oly Ghost. One of the most obvious evidences of our wal with Christ is joy! The word joy appears 123 times in the ,ible. Joy keeps you strong and enables you to draw from the wells of sal ation. #ejoice in the &ord$ always! !%hi i22i(ns +:+" says& #0ejoice in the %ord always. ' will say it again/ 0ejoice;# (ow often are you to rejoice? You are to rejoice always& because #joy# is the easiest fruit to lose. You can8t li e off of the joy you had yesterday. You might say& #' don8t feel like rejoicing.# God didn8t say& #0ejoice& only if you feel like it.# 5o; (e said& #0ejoice always.
