1. Why does your community need a garden? What are the goals and objectives of the garden? How will the garden meet these goals?
3. What is the relationship between the garden project leaders and the community? Do the project leaders live or work in the neighborhood?
4. Have you met with neighbors and neighborhood organizations to talk about starting a garden? If so, what was their response?
5. Who will be responsible for maintaining the garden day to day? How will you ensure that the garden is taken care of?
7. Where is your water source? How do you plan to pay for water?
8. Although Feed Chattanooga provides first year start-up costs, annually provides seeds and plant starts, and continues to support projects through training, we want to make sure that each garden plans for the future. How will you find funding for your garden in the future?
