operating two world scale PET manufacturing complexes with an aggregate
design capacity of over 2.3 million metric tones of PET per annum.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor and controlling the performance of two Continuous Polymerization &


Condensation and Solid State Polymerization plants.
Assess and monitor the performance of various catalysts and additives of plant
and analysis of their impact on product.
Calculate the specific energy consumption and identity any opportunities for
improvement and plant optimization.
Participate as a team member in Heat Exchanger Designing and sizing of other
process equipment and instrument.
Implementation of a HAZOP as a team member conducted HAZOP of projects
and modifications, Project HSE reviews (PHSER), Pre start up safety review
(PSSR), Risk analysis, Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Process Hazard analysis
(PHA).

PLANNING & SHUTDOWN ACCOMPLISHMENT


Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring that all the rules and regulations of Health, Safety & Environment policy
are included in all the maintenance plans.
2. Work request processing and planning & scheduling all the maintenance activities.
3. Preparing detailed execution schedule (Level-4) with all the requirements as
mentioned in the scope of work to client for approval.
4. Schedule include Administration, Establishment of Calendars, Work Breakdown
Structure, Activity Codes Standardization, Resource Loading, Schedule
Integrity are to be provide to the Client for their review.

5. Shall analyze the schedule in each activity in the maintenance & shutdown to
identify any clash between jobs and resources.
6. Discuss with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering departments to determine
their shutdown work scope. Ensures that all preventive and maintenance, inspection,
recertification, repair, overhaul and modifications requirements are included in such
scope of works and also discuss logic for any critical activity.
7. Ensures co-ordination between various divisions, sections and disciplines during
overhaul execution, to ensure that all act in harmony for smooth execution of
shutdown.
8. Provide the production of detailed units shutdown plans and schedules which identify
the overall duration of the shutdown, the critical string of activities (critical path) and
the total shutdown resource requirement.
9. Preparing implementations programs using CPM & PERT planning techniques.
The CPM shows clear critical paths.
10. Preparing various levels of schedule for quick reference and finalizing the execution
plan in regards to the clients milestone dates or requirements.
11. Providing S-curves, percentage variance reports in accordance with planned and
actual works.
12. Providing Daily progress reports, Equipment Status report, Activity Summary
Code and Various Look Ahead Schedule by using primavera and excel; and
also make recovery plan (if necessary).
13. Analyzing the critical equipment in the schedule.
14. Follow ups of progress with management and client on daily progress meeting
through progress reports.
15. Providing reports of valves, heat exchangers and other major equipments in detailed
for quick review through spread sheets.
16. Resolving any technical issues in regards to execution, manpower and equipment
and any deviations with regards to the scope of work.

19. Monitoring the project / shutdown execution process and representing the Contractor
during execution.

OPERATIONAL & PRODUCTION ACCOMPLISHMENT
