The project involves providing System Enhancement to the changing requirements of the BOSS and NWCIS system. System (NWCIS) maintains the customer information and account information in North West states of United States. All the modules that have been dealt so far in this project involve special software called Hogan system apart from COBOL and IMS DB. Any interaction with the front end or database is done through Hogan system. BOSS and NWCIS maintain the Customer information, Address Information and Account Information using various online and batch activities.
Responsibilities
Understanding the scope of business needs Delegate the tasks from functional and technical perspectives. Assigning the work from functional & technical perspectives. Participating in project discussions to consolidate the current status and requirements Estimation, planning and scheduling for new initiatives, enhancements. Reviewing the project artefacts and ensuring implementation of quality processes during all the phases. Establishing & monitoring the processes for Issue Management, Change Management and Quality Management. Monitoring the status of the deliveries and reporting to all stakeholders Offshore team management Interacting with offshore and onsite management for resolving issues Co-ordinating the offshore activities with onsite team lead Appraising the performance of the subordinates Client Management activities like new resource additions, upcoming project discussions and preparing project schedules and plans.
