IN THE IOWA DISTRICT COURT FOR SAC COUNTY IN RE THE MARRIAGE OF ANDREA SUE GANSEMER AND DONALD EVERETT GANSEMER UPON THE PETITION OF Case No. 02811 CDDM001884 ANDREA SUE GANSEMER , PETITIONER, AND CONCERNING DONALD EVERETT GANSEMER , RESPONDENT. On September 27, 2013 , the above-entitled matter is presented to the Court for attention. The Petition for Dissolution of Marriage has been on file for more than 90 days. The Court finds that this matter should be scheduled for trial pursuant to district administrative rule number 2.7. IT IS, THEREFORE, THE ORDER OF THE COURT as follows: 1. This matter shall be scheduled for trial by the court administrator as soon as practicable. One day has been allocated for trial. The parties shall inform the court administrator if additional time is required. 2. If a party believes that this case should be exempted from automatic assignment for trial, the parties shall file an application for exemption, stating the reasons therefore, within ten days of the filing of this order. The application shall be signed personally by the party making the application. A copy shall be sent to the court administrator. The application shall be brought to the attention of the Court in the manner of a motion. 3. Not later than five days prior to the trial, the parties shall exchange exhibits and exhibit list(Petitioner to use numbers and Respondent to use letters.) Further, the following shall be filed with the clerk of court at the same time: (a) Each party's current affidavit of financial status, if not previously filed;

On this date the captioned-matter was set for a hearing to address discovery issues. Colin McCullough was present representing the Petitioner. Jim Van Dyke was present representing the Respondent. The Court is informed that the issues regarding discovery have been mostly unanswered. Attorney Jim Van Dyke has produced a number of records including a CD that has a significant amount of information. However, Counsel McCullough is ill-equipped to digest all this information at this time. Further, tax returns have not been prepared but information may be in the hands of an accountant. The Court finds it necessary that Attorney McCullough have the ability to speak with that tax preparer. Finally, this matter is continued to January 27, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. in the Sac County Courthouse in Sac City, Iowa. At that time the Court will address the Motion to Compel with the expectation that Attorney McCullough will have information that will be specific in nature. The Court is aware that this matter is set for trial on February 6, 2014. Therefore, time is of the essence.
