INTRODUCTION :

Although English is one of two official languages in the Philippines along with Filipino, for one reason or another, many of our students still fear it.although it does take time , practice and patience to be comfortable with the language , you ---as a teacher can help make your students feel at ease with using it, especially since, for most of them its not their language.With your guidance , and perhaps , by following the highly effective strategies here , your students can attan fluency in English.

Analysis of the Article As a grade one teacher in K to 12 Curriculum , we must must adapt the using of our English language in teaching pupils not just only because that it is the foundation of learning but because we are striving for globally competitive learning.Within the content of this article,it includes here the strategies in practicing the pupils to speak English confidently and not to force with implementing the use of English in speaking. I, as a teacher in Grade one class , I use English in a simple way that they can really understands , and speak out,and they can feel comfortable in using English because I engaged the language in every subjects I taught.Sometimes I used English as a tool in motivating such as games , reading , drama etc.I never discourage them whenever they missed an error in using this language. I teach them how to write a simple sentence using the pattern

The_____is ____.and within this repetition they were motivated in writing and speak a sentence in a simple way with confidence .I also speak to them using a simple English, and then I found out that they involve their learnings in their everyday lives such as playing or even speaking to their parents that their parents was surprised and gladly told me of what they are doing inside and outside of their homes speaking English.The using of English language must act and speak out by our pupils confidently .For ,this is one of the aims or goals in the implementation of the K to 12 Curriculum, to become globally competitive,the pupils must confidently communicate using our international language. In accordance with this article Teaching English, Communicate with Confidence must 1.Tell them that its ok to commit lapses every now and then , 2.Encourage them to speak write and read in English even even after your allotted period3.Stop implementing the English Only Policy and use the English preferred program Instead.and lastly4.Find Literary Texts that are within the Learners Level of English Mastery.These are the Stategies that we need to use in teaching Communicating English confidently.

Conclusion

If we teachers should apply this strategies within this article by applying the best ways in teaching and of by using our full creativity in teaching English by communicating with confidence.Our pupils will not be left behind,aside from being globally competitive,they will be the great model , they will rise their potentials and spread their abilities to save the world from illiteracy and poverty.

Regardless of Age , ethnicity,gender,living situation , health or ability , all students have varied needs.Large sizes , however , limit your capacity to tailor unique teaching approaches to each student,which can result in students receiving special attention only when problem arise.Such problems which negatively impact not only the student in question,but also the teacher and his/her classmates, are not inevitable.Through student-teacher relationship building , you can take several measures to ensure that students feel cared for,and subsequently,be more involved in contributing positively inside the class room.This article will help the teachers to promote good learning environment:The Solutions are 1.Get to Know Each Other 2.Map it Out 3.Use Positive Language4.Determine Cause and Effect 5.Draw on Human Resources 6. Analysis of the Article Misconduct behavior of the students cannot be avoided in the classroom situation.So that the teacher must be aware of this issues in order to have good learning environment, and to make the pupils learned not only in academically but having a refined behaviour.This article of Kathryn Aedy is the key to have a good outcome in classroom management by building a positive student-teacher relationships.In her first approach entitled Get to Know Each Other,it allows pupils to have an opportunity to share themselves,their likes and backgrounds.The next one is Map it Out in which the teacher states and discuss the topic that should be covered within the time frame,then it followed by the Use of Positive Languageit is the uses of word encouragement to avoid offensive feeling.The next is to Determine Cause and Effectthat states the constructive way to shape the disciplinary process to constitute a positive learning environment.After this approach she points out on Draw on Human Resources that emphasized the leadership by giving the students a particular assigned tasks regarding to their academic activities.Then if followed by the Encourage Active Participation This is a holistic approach that ensures all students voices are heard to avoid boredom in the classroom.The next one is to Create Spaces for Releasethat set aside the students to express themselves.The next approach is to Have Faith in the Journeythat points out in giving them assignments such as research or story writing to make them perform better by showing them that you believe in your students and feel them that you are a part of their journey.And Lastly the approach entitledRemenber that you are not alone in which the teacher should have resources by means of different advisers around the school such as fellow teachers, principals or even a counselor that will help you to keep a record of your student in a confidential manner,and to seek for their needs to help the student succeed in the classroom. As a teacher, we want to spend our time in teaching, not dealing with classroom disruptions.In classroom management the ,goal of the teacher is to empower students to take a part in their own learning while being held accountable for their behavior and work product.That can be developed through system of freedoms and responsibilities within the classroom.If we apply these approaches written by the author,we will surely build a good student-teacher relationships .Our academic aims will be achieved and the students will have a positive outcomes.

Everyone loves a good story.We spend a lot of time listening to them-whether its a narrative handed down to us by our grandmothers or the tall tales we often hear from our good olneighborhood gossipmongerthat theyve become integral to our day- to- day existence.We spend a lot of money on them as well whether its for books by our favourite authors or DVDs of our favourite filmsand our life seems less enjoyable if we cant ave or regular dose of these fantastic stories

Analysis of the Article The content of this article seems to be one of the best approaches needed by the teachers specially in the primary level.It emphasized the significant of storytelling in the class.It includes the following topic,the first one is The skys the limitpoints out that the beauty of storytelling is that you can cover any topic since you can create your own.The scond one is Get Rid of the Non essential this is when you tell a story you dont need a real or facts in the story,you can use fiction.The third one is Get WildYour story will be mor lively if you can use your facial expression or by wearing costumes.Next topic is Show that You Mean ItBe confident of what you are saying in the story,Make your story livelier,true to life by using your wild imagination.Show your audience that you have the credibility to tell a specific story.Show and tell the story by heart.The fifth is Get them Involved and Make it an AdventureShow that you are a master of story telling if you can integrate your lessons within the story.Then it followed by

Stimulate Their Senses,when you are telling a story ,you can picture out of what they see,hear or even smell to feel the story and try to change your voice according to character who is talking,like you were talking to a bunch of six year old kids.Next topic is Take It SeriouslyYour story has relevance to the subject or topic you taught.With just a little practice, youd be a master in no time.It followed by Just Break the IceIf the story is not relevant to the topic just make it as an ice breaker for the topic you are teaching for least you warmed up the audience.The next one is Make it Entertaining and Fun.Story can be fun if we include a story with a history or trivias such as Jurassic Park that that turn into a blockbuster movie because a lot of kids learned more about dinosaurs. As a teacher in grade one class,I am really fascinated with stories


that contributes my pupils in the integration of the subject I taught specially in our K to 12 Curriculum .Story telling has the great impact in every pupils I taught,because they are the beginners in which they exercised to used they wildest imaginations.They also think critically in their young aged,instead of literally.They can visualized can picture out the meanings of what they are searching for.The fact that the Story Telling brings out with the pupils to enhanced the new additional skills called Viewingnot only seen but they can picture out by using their imaginative thinking.I used to become a child , and my child memories was full of imaginations,my mom always buy me a book of fairy tales,a horror or anything about literature,even in movies.I always tell a story with my playmatesThats why I became a grade one teacher because I want to impart my knowledge. And within this article it helps me a lot ,more than anything,because every pupils I taught will intact their minds with the best stories they heard from me, and they will remember their teacher and my stories.
