3 Harmoni Theme: World of Family and Friends No. of Students: 15 Topic: People Around Me Duration: 60 minutes Time: 8:40 a.m 9:40 a.m Lesson Summary: Teacher to play a song of The Shepherd of His Lambs from the Upin&Ipin movie for the students to listen. Teacher will ask the students orally about the characters in the song. Students will know more about the characters in the presentation stage by reading the text provided. The students will repeat after the teacher with the correct pronunciation and intonation. In the practice stage, students will be divided into two groups and play the game Riddle to test their understanding of the characters and also the pronunciation of words. In the production stage, the students will be given a worksheet each to complete the sentences given. Students will be asked to sing along the song of The Shepherd and His Lambs at the closure stage. Content Standard: By the end of the 6 year primary schooling, pupils will be able to: 2.2 Demonstrate understanding of a variety of linear and non-linear texts in the form of print and non-print materials using a range of strategies to construct meaning. 3.2 Write using appropriate language, form and style for a range of purposes. Learning Standard: 2.2.4 Able to read and understand a paragraph with simple and compound sentences. 3.2.1(b) Able to complete a linear text. Pupils previous knowledge: Students have watched the Upin&Ipin series on television. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to: 1) read the text given with correct pronunciation and intonation. 2) give the correct answers to the questions given. 3) construct complete sentences with correct spelling. Students are divided into two groups. One representative from each group will go standing in front of the class facing friends. The whole class will read the question given in the PPT slides and the representatives needs to answer the questions. Correct answer will be rewarded 5 marks. The group with highest mark will be the winner. At the end of the game, if both group have the same marks,
