Future Continuous Tense


It is used to express an ongoing or continued action in future. e.g. He will be distributing sweets in temple tomorrow at 12 o'clock. In the example, the action will start in future (tomorrow) and action is thought to be continued till sometime in future. Time reference may come in it. If starting time of action is given in the sentence and the action is on-going/continued, then it becomes Future Perfect Continuous Tense. In the above example, time reference 'tomorrow at 12 o'clock' is given but starting time is not given. If starting time 'since 12 o'clock' is added to the example, it becomes Future Perfect Continuous Tense and will be translated as He will have been distributing sweets tomorrow in temple since 12 o'clock .

Pehchaan Vakya kay ant main raha hoga. Rahi hogi rahay hongay' ka prayog hota hai. Present continuous tense aur Past Continuous Tense kay vakyo ki tarah, Future continuous tense main bhi lagataar samay ka prayog nahi hota. Agar lagatar samay ka proyog ho to vaha Future Perfect Continuous vakya ban jata hai. Jaisay - Vah kal 12 bajay mandir main mithai baant raha hoga. - Future Continuous Tense. Lagataar samay jodnay par - Vah kal 12 bajay sey mandir main mithai baant raha hoga. - vakya Future Perfect Continuous Tense ka ho jayega.

Subject + Will/Shall + Be + Verb (Ist form) + Ing + Object + (.)

In Future Continuous Tense, helping verb 'Will be/Shall be' is used and 'Ing' is added with first form of the Verb.

Future Continuous Tense main helping verb 'Will be/Shall be' ka prayog hota hai aur 'Ing' ko verb kee first form kay saath lagatay hai. Future Continuous Tense - Positive Person Ist person Subject I Will/Shall shall Hum Ravivaar ko TV dekh rahay hongay. Be + Verb (Ist Form) + Ing be watching Object TV on Sunday.

In Negative sentence of Future Continuous Tense, 'Not' is added just before 'Be'.

Interrogative sentence of Future Continuous Tense starts with 'Will/Shall'. 'Be' and 'Ist Form of Verb + Ing' remains unchanged in all types of sentences of Future Continuous Tense.
