A dopt A tree Project - 130 classes on climate
change and environmental protection was held for
approximately 4000 students in grade 4 and grade
5 at 10 primary schools in Hanoi.

With the slogan "An idea without action just a
notion", Straw composting project was
successfully implemented with 20 compost piles
in Hanoi.

Action for the Bear Campaign - collect 1,000,000
signatures, send thousands of petition letters to the
Government Office and the Ministry of Agriculture and
Rural Development to keep Tam Dao bear Rescue Center.
The biggest result of this project is contributing to Prime
Minister Nguyen Tan Dungs decision that The Tam
Dao Bear Rescue Center will be allowed to
maintain its operations.


Young environmental journalists club
raise awareness of 8 students from 9-10 years old
in Me Linh, Hanoi about climate change. They are
trained to write articles, journals about
environmental issues.

Improve tripod-stoves by burning cob
project was implemented in Chieng Kheo, Mai Son
district, Son La province to provide improved tripod-
stoves to 35 households and reduce average fuel
shortage months of each household from 5 - 6
months to 3-4 months.

Project Lets Bus is an initiative of the Be the Change
Agents Network to promote the use of buses to save energy
and reduce CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. 30,000
bus tickets are collected, 40 initiatives for the next
stage of Lets Bus, 3500 4000 visitors in the Green
Movement Festival.

Emotion Trees Project aims at lighting up the
love of the Environment of 150 students by
planting trees and teaching environmental classes.



Green Destination contributes to the
encouragement of using non or low emission vehicles
by building green network of 300 restaurants,
shops and caf in Hanoi, which commit to
give discount for customers who go to the shop by
non-smoke emitting vehicles.


I WILL IF YOU WILL has attracted more than 20
companies, 20 Vietnamese artists and positive
feedback from the community, especially the youth with
over 3000 environmental commitments from
high school students.
The He Xanh (Vietnam Green Generation Network) is a network of youth organizations and individuals who share concerns and are willing to learn
and make a difference for a sustainable life. With motivation and enthusiasm, The He Xanh promotes youths and community to be Aware of and Act to address
climate change. Vietnam Green Generation Network has been established since 2008 with only 4 youth clubs. Up to 2013, there are more than 100 groups,
clubs in the network; yearly 30-50 youth-led initiatives of youth are connected to private, NGOs and government support by The He Xanh.
The He Xanh is supported and coordinated by Live&Learn for Community and Environment in cooperation with different partners such as governmental
offices, international organizations (Oxfam, British Council, Care, Plan), Embassies (Australia, Finland), communication agencies (VTV2, VTV6), companies
(Boo, Ford, Canon, Koto) and like-minded organizations and individuals.
