Ero7 200& to 2009) 10 high$7ortality states in 8ndia conducted co77unity$-ased 7aternal ?er-alD social autopsies (ith participatory data sharing (ith co77unities and health progra7s that resulted in the i7ple7entation o6 nu7erous data$dri?en 7aternal health inter?entions. Socialautopsy is a po(er6ul tool (ith the de7onstrated a-ility to raise a(areness) pro?ide e?idence in the 6or7 o6 actiona-le data and increase 7oti?ation at all le?els to ta.e appropriate and e66ecti?e actions.
