Responsible for compliance with the Safety C ase, UK Legislation and the Health, Safety and Welfare of all personnel offshore as defined in legislation. Identification of MAH's and SC E's. To ensure the setting of appropriate Performance Standards for SC E's and specified plant. Implementation of the Verification Scheme. Selection of an appropriate IC P. Recording and acting on the results of examinations under the scheme. Review and revision of the scheme. Management of the full range of offshore activities including helicopter and marine operations. Ensure that Operations and Maintenance procedures contribute to the optimisation of plant uptime. During the design and fabrication stages of SOLAN, ensure that operations and maintenance expertise is provided into the design. Assist with recruitment of the offshore crew, as well as the establishment of appropriate operating procedures and management systems. Lead Operations readiness review prior to sail away. Ensure that the onsite commissioning teams at the Yard and HUC offshore, are properly lead and managed. Accountable for the Aker Solutions SOLAN Project budget. Optimise C ontract delivery, including any KPI's to obtain best results for the C ompany. Report and present relevant contract information on a monthly basis at the C PR / C PM meeting. Develop good working relationships with the C lient and ensure that deliverables are produced to a high quality level and issued on time to agreed target dates. Develop strategies for the achievement of excellence and continually improving performance. Identify opportunities to increase the volume of business or duration on the contract. Stimulate initiative and innovative behaviour in all C ontract assigned personnel. Actively participate in the development and performance appraisal of personnel assigned to the C ontract. Ensure familiarity with Aker Solutions' HSEQ Policies, Principles, Just C are, HSE Mindset, Just Rules, Just C ulture and HSE Operating System. C hampion HS &E Performance Improvement initiatives. Demonstrate HS & E Leadership in line with C ompany expectations. Be clear when setting out expectations to the workforce and hold individuals accountable for their HSE performance in line with C ompany rules of fair play and stress the obligation to intervene and interact with one another at all levels. Actively promote, through your personal commitment, Aker Solutions' HSEQ Policies, Principles, Just C are, HSE Mindset, Just Rules, Just C ulture and HSE Operating system. Be seen as a role model on HSE matters within your areas of operation and influence. Demonstrate HSE leadership of HSEQ Policies, Principles, Just C are, HSE Mindset, Just Rules, Just C ulture and HSE Operating system. Take personal responsibility for HSE local site rules and ensure regular review of your personal HSE agreement. Intervene and ensure intervention by others where required. Report all accidents, incidents and near misses in accordance with Procedures.

Keep abreast of industry developments and innovations that may affect safety and welfare of personnel or protection of the environment, and inform colleagues accordingly. Degree or HND in relevant Engineering preferred Extensive Operations and Maintenance Management Experience Hold a track record in successful O & M Management Extensive C ommercial acumen Be competent in managing a large O & M workforce. Be competent in managing third party vendors Demonstrable experience in the Oil & Gas industry Ability to work with people at all levels in the organisation. C orrect attitude, behaviours and flexibility are valued. Enhanced understanding of safety issues, technically astute, commercially aware. Good verbal and written communication at all levels. Track record in developing strong customer relationships. Good reporting skills. Excellent teamwork skills. Strategic Thinking. Strong Performance focus. Strong client liaison and interface skills. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to create effective working relationships.
